ROADTRIP, COFFEE AND TORTA DE ARGAO _{@morenatravels SIBONGA-ARGAO CEBU}

My bestie @chillyadventures and I decided to visit Our Lady of Simala in Lindogon Sibonga Cebu last Thursday 9th of December in honour of Immaculate Concepcion by the 8th of December. Chilly picked me up at our house around 9 in the morning. We then went straight to Sibonga. We arrived there around 12 noon and we rushed to get inside. We thought that the church altar is open so we walked towards the stairs and of course we took some pictures. When we were almost to the main door by the altar, we discovered that the entrance was closed.

We went back to the main entrance bought some candles ( love, peace, health and wealth). We lit the candles and offered some prayers and it rained. The candles section doesn't have a shed so we ran towards Mama Mary's new altar near the main gate. We continued to offer our prayers there. Afterwards, we were very hungry and decided to look for food in Argao. Since we were really hungry we ate in Jollibee ☺️ ( was not able to take some photos because I am really hungry 😋).

Mama Mary's Castle

After our lunch, we decided to have some coffee in the area. I brought her to SIP MA CHA it sounded like a Tea House but it is a Coffee shop. I know the place because my friend brought me there back in September. I ordered a Chocolate Mint Frappe. My newly discovered flavour this holiday season is mint. I love the taste of the coffee and the ambience of the place. We stayed there until 3:30 in the afternoon.

We then bought some Torta de Argao: a famous delicacy in that area and best paired with coffee. We went to Chitang's Torta shop. They are famous because of the very tasty Torta in Argao. Also, there is a saying from this store that "Kung mag ka bahaw mag ka lami" which means it tastes good when perishable lol I do not know how to elaborate but for me, it tastes good if not eaten right away. Like you have to store it a long time and then eat it. I bought a few like 5 pcs of the Torta. Every time I go to the south or like the Municipality of Sibonga I make sure I will drop by Chitangs.
