[ESP-ING] Mi mascota Feoncio | My Feoncio pet

En esta ocasión vengo a contarles sobre mi mascota perdida llamada Feoncio.

Esta historia comienza hace aproximadamente un 1 año cuando en una tarde lluviosa estando yo sentado en la sala donde tengo el escritorio de mi computadora, he escucho caer algo en el patio de la casa así que me levanto a ver que fue, cuando para mi mayor sorpresa veo que es un gato pequeño que cayó del techo o alguien había lanzado.

Mi primera impresión en realidad es de sorpresa, no me esperaba que fuera un gato pequeño, luego es de risa al escucharlo maullar porque me parecía gracioso la forma en la que lo hacía.

¿A lo mejor algunos se preguntarán y por qué ese nombre tan extraño? es que al escucharlo maullar me dio mucha risa y pensé en forma de chiste un nombre burlón y se me ocurrió Feoncio en honor a su particular maullido.

On this occasion I come to tell you about my lost pet named Feoncio.

This story begins about a year ago when on a rainy afternoon while I was sitting in the living room where I have my computer desk, I heard something fall in the courtyard of the house so I get up to see what it was, when to my surprise I see that it is a small cat that fell from the roof or someone had thrown.

My first impression is actually of surprise, I did not expect it to be a small cat, then it is of laughter when I hear it meowing because I thought it was funny the way it was doing it.

Some of you may ask, "And why such a strange name?" I was laughing when I heard him meowing and I thought of a mocking name as a joke and I came up with Feoncio in honor of his particular meow.

Muy gracioso y todo, pero ya luego mi segunda impresión es de disgusto porque el tener un gato en casa iba a resultar un problema con mi mama y justamente por ser un gato ya que a mi mama es asmática y le molesta el olor que dejan al hacer sus necesidades.

Por otra parte, para mí era complicado porque digamos que no estaba para andar cuidando un animal y menos tener un gato de mascota, además de que no quería ningún tipo de mascota ya que hace más o menos unos 15 años llegue a tener de mascota una perrita pequeña de raza poodle llamada Camila que me fue dada por una familia que ya no podía tenerla y que al tiempo de haberla traído a casa…

Very funny and all, but then my second impression is of disgust because having a cat at home was going to be a problem with my mom and precisely because it was a cat since my mom is asthmatic and the smell they leave when they do their needs bothers her.
On the other hand, for me it was complicated because let's say that I wasn't ready to take care of an animal and even less to have a cat as a pet, besides I didn't want any kind of pet since about 15 years ago I had a small poodle named Camila as a pet that was given to me by a family that couldn't have her anymore and that after bringing her home....

Aquí un pequeño resumen de lo que ocurrió con Camila.

Después de haberle dado un baño y quitado un brote de garrapatas que se le habían pegado no sé en qué momento, noto que algo no estaba bien con ella y tan rápido como pude apure a mi hermana para llevar a la perrita al veterinario que por suerte en ese momento ella contaba con un carro, ya al llegar al veterinario me dicen que debía buscar alguien con un perro grande como mascota para hacerle una transfusión de sangre a mi perrita porque se encontraba anémica, en ese momento me puse pálido de la impresión😮.

Recuerdo que en ese momento estaba empezando a ahorrar para comprarme una buena GPU, pero no lo pensé dos veces y le compré unas vitaminas que me recomendaron y de una vez su talco y collar anti pulgas.

Cabe destacar que llego un momento en que las garrapatas empezaron a ser un problema porque por más que hiciéramos limpieza en la casa siempre se debía de estar despulgando a Camila.

After giving her a bath and removing an outbreak of ticks that had stuck to her I don't know at what moment, I noticed that something was not right with her and as fast as I could I rushed my sister to take the dog to the vet that luckily at that time she had a car, and when I got to the vet they told me that I should look for someone with a big dog as a pet to give a blood transfusion to my dog because she was anemic, at that moment I became pale from the impression😮.

I remember that at that time I was starting to save to buy a good GPU, but I did not think twice and I bought her some vitamins that were recommended to me and at once her talcum powder and flea collar.

It should be noted that there came a time when ticks started to be a problem because no matter how much cleaning we did in the house, Camila always had to be fleeced.

Ya había caído la noche y me la tuve que traer a casa, mientras preguntaba entre las pocas amistades que sabía que tenían perros grandes de mascota logré dar con un amigo que al contarle la situación acepta la propuesta del veterinario. Ahora solo quedaba esperar a que amaneciera, pero entre la angustia y la desesperación me gana el sueño y cuando logro reaccionar de haberme quedado dormido para levantarme a ver como estaba porque la tenía conmigo en el cuarto, veo como me sigue con los ojos y dar su último aliento.

Eso me quedo marcado hasta la fecha y en parte por eso no me gusta la idea de tener mascota, así que puse la situación a prueba sacando al gato de la casa y si regresaba pues contra todo pronóstico se quedaría, y así ocurrió.

3 días después se me enfermó, estaba con la panza inflada y caminaba de manera extraña así que pensé en recurrí a una amiga que tiene experiencia cuidando gatos rescatados y me ayudo dándole un medicamento para desparasitarlo, cosa que ayudo bastante porque al día siguiente ya estaba reaccionando mejor y no tenía la panza inflada.

Night had already fallen and I had to bring her home, while I was asking among the few friends I knew who had big dogs as pets, I managed to find a friend who accepted the vet's proposal when I told him about the situation. Now I just had to wait for the sunrise, but between anguish and desperation I was overcome by sleep and when I managed to react from having fallen asleep to get up to see how she was because I had her with me in the room, I saw how she was following me with her eyes and taking her last breath.

That marked me to this day and partly for that reason I do not like the idea of having a pet, so I put the situation to the test by taking the cat out of the house and if she came back then against all odds she would stay, and so it happened.

3 days later he got sick, his belly was swollen and he was walking strangely so I thought I would turn to a friend who has experience taking care of rescued cats and she helped me by giving him a medicine to deworm him, which helped a lot because the next day he was reacting better and his belly was not swollen.

Me había llevado un buen susto pensando que le podía haber pasado algo y justo eso me hizo dar cuenta que ya me había encariñado mucho con él.

Feoncio era un gato dócil y tranquilo, le gustaba dormir mucho y sabía salir al patio a hacer sus necesidades, esto era una gran ventaja con mi mama porque mi Feo era higiénico y nunca llego hacerse dentro de casa.

Es curioso de que no me hubiera percatado antes hasta que un amigo me dice que era un siamés solo que se veía más sutil porque no era puro y ciertamente tenía los ojos y algo desordenado los colores característicos.

Era un gato cariñoso, cuando no estaba durmiendo o jugando, se echaba a nuestro lado para que lo acariciaran o simplemente echarse a dormir.

Todo era felicidad, pero a medida que fue creciendo empezó a entrar en celo y comenzó a salirse de casa, cosa que antes no hacia porque era muy hogareño.

I had a good scare thinking that something could have happened to him and just that made me realize that I had already become very fond of him.

Feoncio was a docile and calm cat, he liked to sleep a lot and he knew how to go out to the yard to do his needs, this was a great advantage with my mom because my Feo was hygienic and he never went inside the house.

It is curious that I had not noticed it before until a friend told me that he was a Siamese only that he looked more subtle because he was not pure and certainly had the characteristic eyes and somewhat messy colors.

He was a loving cat, when he wasn't sleeping or playing, he would lie down next to us to be petted or just lie down to sleep.

Everything was happiness, but as he got older he started to go into heat and began to leave the house, something he didn't do before because he was very homely.

Pasaron los meses y el condenado se empezó a desaparecer ciertas noches para volver a verle por la mañana, eso hasta que un día por la mañana lo veo pasar y salir por debajo de la puerta de la casa, pensé que iba a echarse en un lugar fresco en la jardinera donde siempre solía dormir en esos días de calor pero cuando llega el medio día y lo llamo como siempre antes de cocinar para servirle primero su comida, “Feeonciooo” y él llegaba corriendo mientras maullaba, en esta ocasión no respondió, no apareció.

“Bueh, debe de andar de bandido por ahí, en lo que lo vea le voy a regañar” pensando que por la noche ya volvería, pero no fue así y me empezó a parecer extraño que se hubiera ido de día porque desde que se empezó a salirse solo lo hacía por las noches y ya por la mañana estaba de vuelta solo que en esta ocasión no había regresado aun y así fueron pasando los días.

Months went by and the damned one began to disappear certain nights to see him again in the morning, that until one day in the morning I see him pass and leave under the door of the house, I thought he was going to lie down in a cool place in the garden where he always used to sleep in those hot days but when midday comes and I call him as always before cooking to serve him his food first, "Feeonciooo" and he came running while meowing, this time he did not respond, he did not appear.

"I thought that he would come back at night, but he didn't and it started to seem strange to me that he had left during the day because since he started to go out he only did it at night and in the morning he was back, but this time he had not come back yet and that's how the days went by.

Llego la primera semana y estaba negación porque él tenía que regresar, decía yo, pero ya habían transcurrido más de 3 semanas. Un mes, se hicieron dos y entre el vacío de recordar que ya no estaba, digamos acepte el hecho de que ya no regresaría a casa.

A lo mejor le paso algo agarrándose con otro gato, me mas la idea de que esta por ahí viviendo su vida o quizás esta en otra, a lo mejor está en algún lugar buscando gatas en celo, pero no sé, quizás algún día me lleve la sorpresa de verle otra vez en casa.

Lástima no tengo muchas fotos del Feoncio, pero es que para cuando el llego a casa yo no contaba con teléfono celular y tiempo después que mi mama me regala uno él estaba bastante crecido y algo poco tiempo después desapareció 😢😢😢

The first week came and I was in denial because he had to return, I said, but more than 3 weeks had already passed. One month became two and between the emptiness of remembering that he was gone, let's say I accepted the fact that he was not coming home.

Maybe something happened to him, maybe he got caught with another cat, maybe he is out there living his life or maybe he is in another one, maybe he is somewhere looking for cats in heat, but I don't know, maybe someday I will be surprised to see him again at home.

Too bad I don't have many pictures of Feoncio, but by the time he came home I didn't have a cell phone and some time after my mom gave me one he was quite grown up and some time later he disappeared 😢😢😢😢😢

Como a pesar de las circunstancias y lo reacio que fui al principio, logro darme tanta alegría el tener, más que una mascota un amigo con el cual pude compartir y vivir momentos, que a pesar de la situación me dejo una enseñanza y es que a pesar del dolor que pueda dejar una perdida está en nosotros recordarlos con amor.

Siempre estarás presente en mis recuerdos evocando el mismo sentimiento de cariño en mi corazón, te extraño mi Feo.

How in spite of the circumstances and how reluctant I was at the beginning, he managed to give me so much joy to have, more than a pet, a friend with whom I could share and live moments, that in spite of the situation he left me a lesson and that is that in spite of the pain that a loss can leave, it is in us to remember them with love.
