There are two ways to create photography, one of them is planned and the other is spontaneous, in my case I like to go out to the street or the countryside and take spontaneous pictures, it is true that sometimes I have thought about the place but I don't have anything planned in my mind.

Today's pictures were taken a few days ago, and I had them waiting for the right moment to make this post, the truth is that I was tired, hungry, sleepy, that mountain is very high and for me that I don't do much exercise it was a challenge.

Although I have to be honest, the first photograph was planned, and it was what kept me strong to stay on the path, because if I hadn't thought about it I probably would have given up, but I had to get to the top to take the photograph.

The second photograph has a powerful message, it says: It always seems impossible, until it is done! It is located at the halfway point to give motivation to hikers.

The other two photographs were totally spontaneous, they are what we call candid photography and it is one of my favorite styles.

The last picture is similar to one I took two years ago, I just wanted to remember that moment, and that's all for today, which one did you like the most?

Perfect!

These are gram level photos, I really love the message too.

My favourite kind of photos are the ones that are unintentional, unchoreographed. I like to think of photos as snapshots of "real-time", and while designed sets and choreographed pictures also have their place, the photos capturing the journey tend to have more impact on me.

Just a side note, I really like the way you've done the colours here too. I've never really understood how to do colour grading "properly" and I've perhaps dangerously fallen into the trap of using pre-set filters a bit too often when I feel like "spicing" up my photos. I really should learn how to do it "properly".

Thank you, I'm glad you liked it, and to be honest I think I like street photography for the same reason, there is nothing set up, everything is spontaneous and candid, street photography, documentary and wildlife photography, etc, all of them have this same feeling.

About color grading it all depends on what software you are using and what you want to show. Personally I use Lightroom almost all the time because I feel I have more control than in other programs and without the need to use a lot of disk space for each photograph.

What you have to keep in mind is the color palette, and try to create that color balance you are looking for, there are some rules about color to know which colors match and which don't, sometimes I follow them and sometimes I don't because I believe that photography is felt, and there are moments when we must follow that feeling more than the rules.

really want to lay on the seat at the top of the mountain, enjoy the sublime view from the top like you do.

Thank you so much, that "small" mountain you see in the background is actually the Sangangüey volcano, I am thinking of going up there too but I have to look in the travel agencies because it is more dangerous there and I need to be with a guide to get to the top.

you mean the "small mountain" and the background of your first picture is the volcano? sounds cool. And yes, you better only go out there with a guide as it's dangerous for you climb up alone.
