In life we should always have projects that keep us happy and busy, there is nothing worse than idleness because it makes us think improper things and can even plunge us into depression, and as you all know my projects always have to do with my cactus and succulents and photography, so let's start with this new adventure.

I have been selling some of the cacti I have in excess, the rainy season came and some of the growing trays had the substrate too organic to stimulate more growth, and that has had consequences, some mammillarias have died because of it, so I decided to take them out and wash the root, but let's look at some of these cacti.

When I made this growing tray I remember mentioning that some of the small cacti appeared to be variegated and I think I was right, their growth has been slower but they have retained a very different color than the other cacti.

I think I will keep selling most of them and just keep a few to continue the production of these cacti.

Some have grown well, strong and healthy as you can see in the picture.

And those that are variegated have a striking color with shades ranging from yellow to red in areas exposed to the sun.

By the way this other cactus is completely full of flower buds, when it starts to open its flowers it will be quite a show that I hope to share with you.

But continuing with the specimens that I have decided to collect, this is how they look in their new individual pots, some were fine in 3-inch pots, others in 2-inch pots, but the important thing is that they are already separated and with a better mix for next year.

I have also separated Astrophytum Asterias, super kabuto, and super kabuto v type although I will talk more about it in another post which will be dedicated entirely to the genus Astrophytum.

I also decided to transplant some Astrophytum Myriostigma that came out of a mix of cultivars that I got on the internet from a place called Chiapas here in Mexico, I don't know what cultivar they would be because they still need to develop more, but I sowed these cacti exactly one year ago and as you can see the size they have is huge.

The color they have makes me think of Onzuka, but it is only what I think, I need to confirm with some friends who are experts on the subject, and if you know I accept suggestions.

The following is another Astrophytum that I have no idea what kind of cactus it is but definitely the colors and shapes are to my liking and will surely attract a lot of attention from some buyers, although knowing me it is probably difficult for me to put a price on a cactus like this, so it will probably stay in my personal collection.

And the last one of the day is not far behind in beauty and rarity, with six ribs it already has some value, and with that color it guarantees its attractiveness, so I am thinking that it will also stay in the personal collection and at some point I can cross it with the previous cactus, actually I have two more with the same characteristics, maybe it would be a good idea to put them all together in a photograph for the next post, I hope you liked my cactus, see you in the next post.
