The waiting period is over.
With all the stress, trauma and fear surrounding a mother and her baby while still in the womb.
Our hearts are filled with joy
To receive a man child
Right from the theatre room
In contrast to a labor room
The panics of losing either of them
Caused some shivers running down my spine
I could remember running and skipping steps
To purchase the gloves, blades and anesthetics for the process
I was practicanumber

When the detail of the process to be carried out were explain to me.
The complications encountered were mountainous
But all things been equal
We now rejoice
That we have crossed every huddle

And Adodo junior is our miracle.
Am now a grand grand aunt
Having new babies from every angle
Am happy to love cherish and help them grow up.
Rejoice with me.
A new life has been born
To us and at this time.
We celebrate the Yuletide
With an extra joy
To have the best gift presented to us, the gift of a new life.
And thus we have increased in number

The postnatal surgical ward was decorated for the season and our baby
I can imagine the Joy Mary felt
When she brought forth her man child
Over 2000 years ago.
About the same time season and temperature.
Maybe a little wonder that I took after her name
To share in the joy of motherhood
With a little difference this time
Because am a grand grand aunt 😂
And not the mother

Nevertheless am happy, and with greater joy that the oceans didn't swallow us up and we are victorious to have both mother and child now safe and sound.
