Red is the color for the season, and this can as well sit for my hair band

Hello Hive

Deciding to try a fabric rose for my hair band I used this red left over pieces from the Christmas project outfit I wanted to make for myself.

I have had the Christmas project planned for first week of December where am thinking of showcasing the dress on our zoom meeting for needleworkmonday community meet up.

The pattern and cutting for the dress is ready and I have just as much fabric to do this.

Cutting out a few the exact number of love shape fabric I want it was hilarious for me to notice that I don't know how to draw the love shape correctly and since I wanted a fabric in that form I kept practicing with a paper to see which one will befit what I wanted to do.

Isn't it funny, something as small as a love shape I can't draw, I never knew that until yesterday while making this.

Another challenge is that my scissors wasn't sharp enough to give me some neat edges, how could I not know that I needed a new one having used this same scissors for 3years now, am used to taking care of my stuffs that I can use a piece of equipment for years.

This very one needs to be changes or sharpened if I want to continue using it, but since scissors are cheap I might just get another on my next shopping.

Cutting was done and I stitched my love pieces together, so easy and simple.

Now an Alice band is needed for the final part and since am not withing the reach for one I simply used my elastic band.
And just this simple rose lit my hair.
