Important Homestead care , massive growth , turnaround and development of the Peppers plants
Hello Hive

A beautiful new day to us all, I hope that we had a peaceful night rest and are hale and hearty. It is about time to embrace a new day and I am up very much early to visit the homestead for the

My daily routine is very much thesame everyday for now unless I chip in a few other things, it is always from the bed to the farm and then back to the house for chores and sewing and then any other interesting thing. Besides this I am also attending an online school to have a certificate upgrade paradventure that will give me a job. Recently the sewing endeavour hasn't witnessed much patronage and consistently we have to keep working to earn a living

A very good portion of the food we eat comes from the homestead, which reduces our financial burden and stress nevertheless the petty sales of farm produce doesn't always produce as much money needed to keept the children in school and foot other bills. A lot of people are working 2-3days simultaneous in other to meet with their financial needs in this economy.

Having completed a good portion of our weeding yesterday I noticed a drastic improvement in the growth of our scotch bonnet pepper and it was such an exciting thing.
It is very much obvious from it's growth the difference between when a crop is grown with raining water and the other through irrigation farming At first we had thought that it was the grasses constituting the setback on the growth of the pepper. The plant couldn't grow beyond this limit just like you can see here.

Most of the pepper tree produced barely a few pepper and flowering was scanty. The peppers were stunted in their growth and you can see just a few pepper coming up and ripening.
Regardless of the amount of water being poured here the weather was still very harsh and the ground drying up hastily after every irrigation session.
The observable change in growth started happening gradually which I noted some weeks ago, the pepper plants added some more height and became even much taller. They had drastically grown from something like this here

To a moment of massive production now they are massively producing more flowers. And we know fully well that the more the number of flowers they produce the more pepper the pepper to be produced and harvested.

It is important to lookout for the crops we plant diligently to note any growth challenges and changes we can make to improve on the growth of our crops. Maximum output depends on how well we take care of these crops.
The weeding of the farm, essential checkup on nutrients, planting the right specie of crops and other factors are the things we need to lookout for in our homestead for our crops to produce well. Weeding here gave the crops more room for growth and expansion and the rains has created a cooler soil environment for the plant to thrive well. Probably the river water wasn't substantial or irrigation wasn't done accordingly, the ground was much hotter and drier and not supporting the growth of these pepper back then even though the corn and other crops flouraihed better.
I like how you highlight proper maintenance, because small things like mulching, spacing, and timely watering can make a huge difference in plant development and yield. Keep it up 👍🌱
