Happy new day to us all, I hope that we have had the very best and the most quality night rest, this is important to refreshing us and restore our energy so that we may pursue our activities of the day.

The weather has been very much cooler and pleasing this day and we are grateful for this season.
Like you all know that it is a planting season and we have been going about various crops and vegetables.

Having planted groundnuts some days ago we will had to carry out a replanting process within the spaces of the field where the nuts went missing. Planting seasons is a very joyful times even for the birds in the field,they happpiky go around picking up our planted grains to eat, and in order not to leave those planted spaces empty we still have to carry out a replanting process to fill those places.

We had some rains wet the ground soon as we completed another round of planting. Replanting is important in order to increase yield and maximize available land space to produce more crops for us.
You cannot expect to cultivate the field and plant your crops scanty.

For the planting of peanuts unlike other crops like corn which a lot of people have planted without cultivating the land, it is compulsory to cultivate land before planting peanuts. Peanuts often bear their fruits in their roots. The nuts are produced in the root of this leguminous plant, if the land is not cultivated, the nut will not be able to penetrate and break into the ground to produce it's food. Hence it is a must to cultivate the land before planting peanuts.

Another thing that has been done here was to equally apply herbicides go kill all grasses around the groundnuts right after planting.

The nut has germinated among dead grasses that will have otherwise affect it's growth at this early stage. It will take quite a while for any grasses to grow germinate, grow and catch-up with the growing nut to hinder or affect it's growth.
These are the proper way of planting and measures put in place for growing peanuts in order to achieve maximum yeild.
