Happy new day to us all. I hope that the new week welcomed us with much warmth and ease. Harvest is one of the most delightedful sight of any farming exercise most especially if your crops produced very well.

Some crops do not give us any stress to grow them at all, while with some other crops we have to keep dragging them in everyway go ensure that they produce something for us to eat.

Preparation are being made on ground so that we can harvest our lettuce this week. Since there is no means for massive preservation of lettuce they are often been harvested and sold out at the market thesame day. It is now the duty of the market sellers to ensure that they sell of the lettuce to people before they get spoilt.

You can see the massive quantity of lettuce we have here and if everything has to be sold at once, then there must be provision for buyers so that that can all equally get purchased off in the market to final consumers. Different market from different communities will be consulted to see if they will be interested. Even though I wished that the Salad ought to be harvested gradually and sold in some quantity per time, sometimes it's different to maximize profit that way.

People may enter this farm and begin to steal massively whenever they see that harvest has begun or it is being done halfway.

Another harvest we are waiting for is this corn that has been planted in the first week of May when the farming season begun.

There has not been any challenge with growing this corn at all. Those who have planted their corn exactly when the rain begun are now expecting harvest by the end of this month so that people can start eating fresh corn.

The amount of rainfall for this year has just been sufficient enough for the proper growth of these corns. And herbicides were applied at the right time to control weeds in the farm. Being one of the most fertile soil available no single inorganic fertilizers were used for these and the corn have given us their best so far. Two sessions of corns will be planted here and right after harvesting these ones, we will be replacing them with more corns and other cereals that will be Harvested in the latter part of the year.
