Today I want to share with us the process of how I have made these beautiful fabric roses I intend to use as a hairband to match with one of my outfits.

Lately I got tired of tying a turban scarf 🧣🧣🧣🧣 and wish to have something pretty to wear around my head whenever I want to go to church.

I got the several pieces of the leftover fabric of the dress I was making for myself. I cut out circles of two different sizes, a larger one amounting to 8 in number and the smaller ones, which are 5 in number.

After cutting the circles, I got hand needles and thread and then began picking the fabric to form a cone. First I fold it in two, then fold it in.

Passing the needle through each piece, I pulled them together, forming the smaller fabric flowers.

I equally did the same for the larger flower, and my fabric roses were red.

Now I would need something to wear this around my head with. To make this, I got a plain black satin, sewed it in the wrong face, and then turned it over to the right face.

Next I stitched it ok on both sides, leaving a space in the middle to pass on an elastic thread.

The elastic would be the reason for making this easily wearable.

Having closed the elastic, I moved to the last phase of stitching. I started with stitching the roses together, added a bottom in the middle to cover the rough edges, and then I moved to attach it to the earlier elastic ruffle.

My fabric rose headband is ready, and as soon as I get done sewing my outfits, I will merge the two together, and the perfect wear for any outing is ready. What do you think of this?
