A very beautiful afternoon to my friends in the community, it has been a beautiful day so far and I'm so happy that the weather has been calm and friendly, although there is no rain even though we desire it for farming activities to commence fully we are still glad that the weather is not scourging

My church choir and everyone with their beautiful fascinator headwear

Checkout this beautiful handcraft headwear fascinator I made for myself. This was the uniform we have worn to Sunday service last week as the church choir. It's always beautiful and colorful to see the choir dressed in beautiful uniform apparels.

I have had a few of my friends refrain from joining the choir just because they believe that they cannot afford the weekly uniform dressing. The demand to sew new clothes or dress in matching colors.
But I believe that everything is about determination. If you are determined you will always find a way about these things.

I love singing in the choir, it has helped shape my voice in recent times when I rejoined the choir after years of backsliding. Now I have more confidence in my singing voice and maybe someday I will bless the Blockchain with a better version of my singing self. I have made some awful attempts at music video covering here before.

Although the others ladies wore a more sophisticated fascinators using the ideal net I thought of improvising using something cheaper and what I can afford for now. The dress code was a green fascinator or a red outfit. I already had a red dress remaining only the fascinator.

To make this I got a piece of organza fabric here.

Ironed it out because it was very much squeezed.

Next I cut it into about 6" width . Sewed and turned it over to the right side

Then I got a hand needle and began to form a rose gathers of it
When that was done
I got a button and used it to cover the middle of the gather

Then proceeded to stich in some embroidery material on the net.

I got a black elastic thread preferably and sewed it beneath the organza so that I could be using that to wear this piece. An alice band is often preferable but it is quite expensive and the elastic is very much a good substitute

At first I had thought that I will be mixing the organza with a red color to make it more colorful but in the end I love this green one just the way it is.
