And finally—and quite surprisingly—the formation of a mud volcano has been recorded off the coast of Trinidad and Tobago. Geoscientists indicate that this phenomenon is a direct geological response to powerful earthquakes, resulting from the transfer of tectonic stress in the region.

Tras tres semanas del impacto del doble terremoto marcaron un antes y un después en Venezuela, el país se mantiene en pie gracias a la solidaridad de su gente y el esfuerzo incansable de los equipos de rescate.
Según el balance oficial más reciente se confirma la pérdida de 4,829 personas.
6,462 personas han sido rescatadas con vida desde los escombros, gracias al despliegue de rescatistas nacionales e internacionales. Sim embargo los esfuerzos de búsqueda continúan sin descansotrabajando, para localizar a quienes aún permanecen como no localizados.
En medio de esta emergencia, la naturaleza también ha mostrado su fuerza, generando curiosidad y, incertidumbre.
Tras los sismos, el cielo de Venezuela se tiñó de un rojo intenso. Especialistas aclaran que este fenómeno, conocido como candilazo, es un efecto atmosférico natural causado por la dispersión de la luz solar en partículas suspendidas en la atmósfera y (no tiene relación directa con los sismos.)

Y por último, y extrañamente sorprendente. Se ha registrado la formación de un volcán de lodo frente a las costas de Trinidad y Tobago. I've prepared for a significant Earthquake should it occur in my city but I wonder how mentally ready? I have decades of Nursing and medical nursing experience so I plan to report to my local hospital as a volunteer assuming I have my immediate family's needs taken care of. Could I take upon myself the emotional trauma of such an event? I hope I can keep my head straight and focus on the needs of those under my care. I expect the local hospitals to be overwhelm and in need of help, even from a worn out retired nurse.

It is interesting, but doesn't surprise me. Air is above and in direct contact with the ground. That creates particulate matter, electromagnetic possibilities as well as affecting weather from the disturbances. Almost maybe like a chain reaction. Then, the volcano off the shore-the earth's crust has got to give somewhere, so I could see how all of this is somewhat related despite what the experts say.
I am sorry for the loss of life, but do celebrate those who have emerged from the rubble and the tireless efforts of the rescue workers.
