Fear
I took this picture a few days ago. I look sleepy, but yes! I really am very tired and have accumulated a lot of fatigue. I wish I could sleep more than 5 hours every night and that the appearance of my dark circles would change a little.

Last night I went to the store, and as I was walking, I noticed another person coming down the same street. It was a homeless person; I think I'd seen them wandering around several times before. They were limping, and when they got close to passing me, they reacted aggressively. They raised their hand to try and hit me. I stared at them and walked as fast as I could to get away. I saw their expression of disgust, and I also noticed they were under the influence of drugs. There are many people on the streets lost to drugs. I need to be more careful; they could have hurt me. On my way back from the store, I couldn't stop thinking about what had happened. I felt scared, and the more I thought about it, the more I realized how serious it was. I walked home nervous but prepared. I saw them lying in a shop near my street. I hurried as fast as I could and went into my house.

I can't deny that I'm in a somewhat dangerous place, an unsafe area. This morning I left very early to take my eldest daughter to school, again alert and cautious, and a little anxious about what happened last night. The streets are very dangerous, especially for people who come from another country; we have to be vigilant...

I was afraid to go out today, but!

It is fear that keeps us alive.

I can imagine how scared you must have been. As you say, there are plenty of dangers out there, so it’s important that you stay alert. Take good care of yourselves!

I completely get what you are saying! You just never know who you could run into, and with the drugs and whatnot, it is a scary situation. I once had a lady tell me to be careful of my hair. I'd not stopped to think about it, but if you're out and your hair is moderately long (in my case, it's excessively long-below my rear), then someone can take you off guard and grab you by the hair! I have to say that I wouldn't have thought about that.

It's good advice simply because let's face it-it's going to hurt and it will bring you to your knees pretty quick!

Please, please be careful! Take care my sister! 🤗🌹 !LADY !BBH

Wow, your hair is really long. Well, let me tell you, if that were the case, the scariest thing would be if someone cut it right there on the street to sell it. This happens a lot, even in my country.

Oh my! That would be devastating!

For years, my hair would not grow beyond my waist and then about 5 years or so ago, it just took off! I had it as long as it is now back then, but cut a foot off as it was kind of scraggly. This time though, I've been keeping the ends trimmed and it isn't like that at the ends. Some time, I'll post a picture of it down. I jokingly say I could look like Cousin It from the Addams Family movie, lol!

Take care sis! Enjoy the weekend! 🤗🌹

I have Chamomile tea to help relax me and try to have more sleep if possible. You have to stay alert of your surroundings and decide ahead of time what you have to do if confronted in that manner again. Did he loiter outside your home? Trouble is that he knows where you live. Did you report this to the police?

The scare has passed, but I remain vigilant. I don't speak much of the language here, and I don't understand it very well either. What makes it difficult for me to interact with other people. Everything's fine for now. I haven't seen the person. @kerrislravenhill I hope you're well ❤️
