170LOH; Controlling myself in difficult moments
The situations of life and what individuals experience makes each and every one of us react differently to different occurrences. One of the things lots of human beings never pray to experience is difficult moments, we all want to have pleasurable moments in which we will be happy and be at rest. But life is filled with both ups and downs, so the down moments must surely happen at a point in our lives and how we manage it matters a lot.
The reality of life is that, almost everyone on earth will experience difficult times but the timing will not be the same. Some people are presently experiencing the worse moments of their lives, some have gone through theirs while some haven't experienced their own harsher circumstances.
Having ways to control oneself in difficult moments is very important because of one's mental health. Health they say is wealth, so it is very important for you to develop a personal way out for yourself in trying times so as not to be overwhelmed by it.
How I've been controlling myself
Whenever I'm going through difficult moments and my mind isn't settled the first thing I do to calm my nerves is to listen to music, most especially worship songs. I play solemn worship songs and sing along with it. This helps to calm me down and lessen the burden in my mind. I've been using this control measure for a while now and it's has been working like a magic for me.
Secondly, if having difficulty in what I do and it lead to mood swings for me was cause by someone then I stay away from the fellow to maintain my sanity. Walking away from insensitive people has been saving me from physical confrontation.
I don't care if anyone calls me a coward but I've learned to walk away when I notice some things aren't going my way to avoid further arguments. I hate to exchange words with people, so when I'm in the midst of insensitive people and things aren't going my way which might lead to an uproar, I will just walk away so as to go catch some fresh air.
Thirdly, I've also find an important way to control myself by been in the midst of positive minded people so as to lift my soul and emotions.
Being in charge of ones emotion is very important and having measures to control oneself in difficult moments is also very crucial. Therefore, I've learned these measures and I still want to learn more so as to be emotional stable.
