On the occasion of this very very sunny morning, creating a very happy atmosphere, I want to share some photos of mushrooms that I got a few days ago. Understandably, these past few weeks I have not been able to contribute to the "fungifriday challenge" created by Mr. @ewkaw.
This morning I found four different types of mushrooms, maybe this is because the area where I live has been raining very hard for the past few days accompanied by strong winds, there are even places that have experienced disasters such as the fall of several trees on the national road, there are also some areas that caused the roof of the building or market was badly damaged due to strong winds.
Alright, back to the discussion. I will tell you about several types of mushrooms that I found this morning, the first being Psathyrella Piluliformis, Shaggy Stalked Bolete-Boletellus betula, Trichaptum Abietinum, and Coprinellus Domesticus.
Below I will explain some of the mushrooms that I have mentioned one by one above.
- The first is "Psathyrella Piluliformis Mushroom". The name of this mushroom I took through the wikipedia.org
What I see from observation, this mushroom has a half head shape from the shape of the ball of the foot, light brown to cream in color. the stem is very small but able to support the mushroom head to stand. I found this fungus on wood that had been dead for a very long time. It can be seen from where the mushroom lives.
Psathyrella piluliformis is a species of agaric fungus in the family Psathyrellaceae. It produces fruit bodies (mushrooms) with broadly convex caps measuring 2–5 cm (3⁄4–2 inches) in diameter.[2] The caps are chestnut to reddish brown, the color fading in age and with dry weather.[2] The closely spaced gills have an adnate attachment to the stipe.[2] They are initially tan until the spores mature, when the gills turn dark brown. wikipedia.org
- The second mushroom is "Shaggy Stalked Bolete-Boletellus betula". I found this mushroom in the same location but in a different place, more or less a radius of 20 meters from the mushroom I found the first time. I found the Latin name of this mushroom also through google lens media which is already on my Samsung A52s cellphone. Why am I looking for the name of the mushroom through the media? because to equalize perception, there is nothing wrong in making a name. but for this mushroom I did not find an explanation on wikipedia but on the website earthsnaturalsolutions.com. The size of this mushroom is so small that I needed an additional lens to take pictures of this mushroom. I use a Sony brand additional lens with a diameter of 25mm. This fungus is red like rust found on scrap metal or nails that have been stuck in wood for a long time. This mushroom head looks very small, twice the size of the mushroom stem.
- The third fungus is Trichaptum Abietinum. This fungus is tightly attached all over his body to the trunk of a dead tree. different from other mushrooms that have a stem or stalk and have a head. This mushroom looks flat and creeps. the color is also different from the two mushrooms that I have mentioned above. from its appearance it is clearly seen that the leaves of this mushroom have large pores for its body size, as well as the shape of coral reefs found in the sea. I also took the name of this mushroom through the google lens application.
Trichaptum abietinum is a species of poroid fungus in the order Hymenochaetales. It is saprophytic, growing from dead conifer wood.
The white-gray cap is 1–4 cm wide and usually no more than .5 thick, shelved and fanlike, with brownish and leathery flesh. The spores are white, cylindrical, and smooth. wikipedia.org
- The last is Coprinellus domesticus mushroom. This mushroom has an oval head like an egg shell. I can guess almost 90% the size of his head. For the different stems with the same mushroom. some are long some are short. The stalks are white like the color of human bones. The head of this mushroom is also seen, some are plain, some have stripes, some are even hairy.
Coprinellus domesticus, commonly known as the firerug inkcap,[2] is a species of mushroom in the family Psathyrellaceae. First described as Agaricus domesticus by James Bolton in 1788, it was later known as Coprinus domesticus before it was transferred to the genus Coprinellus in 2001. wikipedia.org
All the mushrooms that I share here I took using a Xiaomi Mi 8 smartphone camera and the addition of a 25mm diameter macro lens. I added the lens to make it easier to take pictures, because the mushrooms I found are very small.
