Aceh, is one of the most western regions in Indonesia, this area is also rich in a mix of various cultures. That is, starting from a mixture of cultures such as Arabic, Chinese, European and also the Indies.

One of the cultural customs of ancestral heritage that is still maintained and upheld in Aceh is the culture during the Acehnese traditional wedding procession. Some of the rituals mentioned during weddings in Aceh are full of elements of kinship and the highest respect for God and fellow human beings of course.

The wo linto ceremony or what is called "Tung Linto Baro" or "Preh Linto Baro" is the culmination of a wedding that is coveted by 2 large families which is to welcome the linto baro (groom), sungkeman with the parents of 2 families and sitting on the pavilion with virgin baro. The ritual begins with the virgin baro who picks up the linto baro group accompanied by the "Ranup Lampuan" dance performed by little dancers. Then "similar" is reciprocated rhymes when receiving Linto. Then the "exchange of betel" ceremony by the elders of both parties who were happy.
