I hope you guys are doing well. This is my 2nd post on the hive. Today I'll share my recent travel experience from Dhaka to Cox's Bazar and St. Martin.

• We're traveling by bus. We started our journey at 10:30 PM from Fokirapul Bus Stand to Cox's Bazar.
• Our destination is 397.6 km away from Dhaka.

• We took a break in Chittagong Highway Restaurant.
• Distance from Chittagong to Cox's Bazar is 148.3 km

• Finally, we reached Cox's Bazar.
• Cox's Bazar is a breathtaking coastal town located in southeastern Bangladesh. Renowned for its stunning, unbroken sandy beach stretching over 120 kilometres, it is the world's longest natural sandy sea beach. Tourists flock to Cox's Bazar to enjoy its serene beauty, indulge in water sports, witness mesmerizing sunsets, and explore nearby attractions such as Himchari National Park and Inani Beach. It is a popular destination for both local and international travellers, offering a unique blend of relaxation, adventure, and natural splendour.

• As I and my colleague embark on a memorable vacation in Cox's Bazar, prepare to be enchanted by the coastal paradise that unfolds before me. Spend my days strolling along the endless sandy shores, feeling the warm sun on my skin and the gentle sea breeze in my hair. Indulge in exhilarating water sports such as jet skiing or parasailing, feeling the rush of adrenaline as I conquer the waves.

• Take time to explore the vibrant local culture and cuisine. Sample delicious seafood delicacies at the bustling beachside restaurants, savouring the flavours of freshly caught fish and prawns. Immerse me in the lively markets, where colourful handicrafts and souvenirs await your discovery. Engage with the friendly locals, learning about their traditions and way of life.

• For a touch of adventure, venture out to Himchari National Park, where dense forests, refreshing waterfalls, and stunning viewpoints await. Hike through the trails, breathe in the crisp mountain air, and capture breathtaking panoramas of the Bay of Bengal from the hilltops.

• As the sun begins to set, make my way to the shore to witness the magical spectacle of colours painting the sky. Find a cosy spot on the beach, perhaps with a bonfire and some music, and share stories and laughter with my colleague, cherishing the bonds of friendship strengthened by this unforgettable journey.

• Cox's Bazar offers a perfect blend of relaxation, adventure, and camaraderie, ensuring that your vacation with your colleague will be etched in your memories for years to come.

• St. Martin Island, being a coastal and marine ecosystem, is surrounded by abundant water resources that contribute to its natural beauty and ecological diversity. The island is characterized by crystal-clear turquoise waters, which are home to diverse marine life, including vibrant coral reefs, various species of fish, and other aquatic organisms.

• The surrounding waters of St. Martin Island provide opportunities for activities such as swimming, snorkelling, and diving, allowing visitors to explore the underwater world and witness the colourful coral formations and marine species that inhabit the area.

The next day we're going to St. Martin Island.

• As for the birdlife on St. Martin Island, while the island itself is relatively small, it serves as a habitat for several bird species. Birds found on the island include resident and migratory species. Some of the commonly spotted birds on St. Martin Island include seagulls, sandpipers, terns, and various types of shorebirds.

• Birdwatchers and nature enthusiasts visiting St. Martin Island can observe these avian species in their natural environment. The island's coastal location and its proximity to the Bay of Bengal make it an attractive destination for birds seeking feeding grounds or stopovers during their migratory journeys.

• Saint Martin Island, also known as St. Martin's Island, is a small tropical island located in the northeastern part of the Bay of Bengal. It is situated approximately 9 kilometres south of the Cox's Bazar district in Bangladesh and about 8 kilometres west of the northwest coast of Myanmar. St. Martin Island is the only coral island in Bangladesh and is known for its pristine beaches, clear turquoise waters, and diverse marine life.

• The island covers an area of about 8 square kilometres and is home to a local population of around 7,500 people, primarily consisting of fishermen and their families. The inhabitants mostly reside in the village located on the island's eastern side.

• St. Martin Island offers breathtaking natural beauty and is a popular tourist destination, both for local and international visitors. Its sandy beaches, coconut palm groves, and crystal-clear waters attract travelers who seek relaxation, swimming, sunbathing, and snorkeling. The island's underwater ecosystem is rich with colorful coral reefs and various species of fish, making it a haven for diving enthusiasts.

• Some notable attractions on the island include Chera Dwip, a small coral island nearby that emerges during low tide and is accessible on foot, as well as the nearby Kutubdia Island. Visitors can also enjoy boat rides, explore the local village, try fresh seafood, and witness stunning sunsets over the Bay of Bengal.

• It is important to note that due to its ecological significance, efforts are being made to preserve the fragile ecosystem of St. Martin Island. Measures are being taken to regulate tourism and protect the coral reefs from pollution and other environmental threats.

• In summary, St. Martin Island is a tropical paradise known for its picturesque beaches, clear waters, and vibrant marine life. It offers a serene escape for nature lovers and beach enthusiasts, making it a popular destination for tourists in Bangladesh.
