Macroscopic - Auricularia Polytricha Species

Clouds and drizzle this afternoon made me unable to go anywhere. Today's weather is not friendly, because now in Aceh is the rainy season. After a while the rain stopped, I took the time to hunt for photos for my post material.

I'm interested in the mushroom theme. This is my first post in the fungi lovers community. And I am very happy to be able to join and support this community. And here's the fungus I got on the roots of a big, rotting tree. Let's see a little explanation about the name, photo and types of mushrooms.

Macroscopic fungi can be used as food and medicine. In forest ecosystems, macroscopic fungi act as decomposers. The results showed that 18 types of macroscopic fungi were found which belong to four orders, namely Aphyllophorales, Agaricales, Auriculariales and Polyporales.

The dominant macroscopic fungi were from the Order Aphyllophorales, such as Pycnoporus sanguineus, Polyporus versicolor, Polyporus varius, Schizophyllum commune, Thelephora palmata, Earliella scabrosa, Lignosus rhinocerus, Trametes versicolor, Heterobasidion annosum and Ganoderma applanatum.

Several types of macroscopic fungi that are used as food by the local community are species Auricularia polytricha, Hygrocybe conica, Pleurotus ostreatus and Schizophyllum commune.

those little elf-caps fungi are always funny to look at.
you made some nice captures, sadly some of them are blurry and not in focus. well, since thats a macro maybe inevitable to have all in the focus zone. the post is supported by FL community - thanks back for your support as well.

Thank you... Yes, that's how it is, because it uses an old smartphone that still lacks pixels on its camera. I will probably buy a lens with better results in the future.
