Macro Photography - A Yellow Spider That Has Horns Like A Rhinoceros

Hi Hivers, let's identify a unique spider together. At first glance this ferocious little creature doesn't look like a spider, in my opinion it looks more like an insect.

I found this spider when he was making a web for an insect trap, maybe he was looking for a living for his lunch needs.

I got to know him and asked him to chat a few things about how to make nets properly and correctly, and I asked for some photos as memories.

According to references from WikipediA, this small animal has the Latin name "Gasteracantha hasselti". It is a species of spider belonging to the Araneidae family. This species is also part of the order Araneae.

The scientific name of this species was first published in 1837 by C L Koch. This spider is usually found in India, China and Maluku, but this time I found it in Indonesia, Aceh province. Maybe he is traveling around the world.

Its body posture is similar to a rhino's head because it has several horns on its body. I think these sharp spines function as a protective device or weapon from attacks by other animals.

It's possible he has DNA from the rhino, but this is just my opinion. Because it is impossible for a body to have offspring like this, even if they cross-breed.
Even though it has a frightening body shape with its spines, this spider has a yellow and black color that is quite charming.
And it was also the first time I saw him, I think he had just come from India. Ha ha ha …
