In Harvesting Prospective Parent Tilapia Get One Carp

Yesterday, my dear friends and I did the activity of harvesting tilapia, when we were harvesting tilapia there was a very large goldfish caught in the net we were doing. We found a lot of tilapia in the net but only one goldfish we found but it was very large. The goldfish we found were female goldfish, as we can see in this picture, the goldfish are gonadally mature and can be spawned with male goldfish. After we got it we took pictures with the goldfish and after that I put the goldfish into another goldfish pond.

The tilapia that we got were then taken to the holding pond for the prospective tilapia broodstock. So we didn't put it back together with the goldfish, maybe the goldfish we got was just a goldfish that got lost when we put it in. I didn't know that in the tilapia pond there was a big goldfish like the one we saw, we don't know who threw the goldfish into the tilapia pond, it looks like the goldfish has been in the tilapia pond for a very long time so that the goldfish becomes a very large goldfish.

We harvested fish in the morning to prepare several prospective brooders of tilapia, which in the next few months someone asked us for tilapia seeds to be distributed to communities who have ponds around their homes. Therefore, we have to prepare some of our activities to be able to reach or get tilapia seeds in accordance with the requests that have been determined by the service. Tilapia is one of the freshwater fish that has a very good taste so it is in great demand by the community, in restaurants it is also very popular with tilapia because tilapia can be made into one of the very delicious food menus and has excellent nutrition.

We do this harvest in the morning, which as in the field we can see today the sun is not so hot and we can carry out activities smoothly. My friends and I are still enthusiastic in carrying out activities where we work, where we work is one of the places to produce freshwater fish seeds in accordance with the rules set by the local government. This place belongs to the North Aceh marine and fisheries service, so we are only here to work as field technicians whose job it is to produce superior and good tilapia seeds in accordance with operational standards that have been determined by the government.

In tilapia hatchery we can choose superior parents so that we can get superior seeds. In our tilapia mating system, we prefer to be able to breed or breed tilapia in what nets so that it is easier for us to harvest the existing seeds. For the comparison of males and females at the time of tilapia spawning we did 1 to 3, so in one we included 24 females and 8 males, meaning for a 1 to 1 comparison I mean in 1 male we included 3 females. After we put the male parent and female parent into the net where the hatchery or mating is right. So to produce seeds we just have to wait about 20 to 25 days then the fish have released their seeds. After we see that the seeds are already there, we will take the seeds and we will accommodate them in the seed maintenance tank for us to do sales.
