Rocky Mountains and a long zoom

I took these on the way to Canmore a few years ago just after I picked up the Nikon 200-500m lens. Great for long range shots.

On top of the mountain on the left there is a lodge, you might be able to barely see it. I did not know it was even there before this.

The trees blanket this mountain, I always wonder what is hiding inside.

The trees give way to rocky edges and protrusions, making the mountains very rocky indeed.

I always hope to catch some wildlife hiding somewhere in a scene, for this I am unsure if there is but with all the tree it wouldn't be long until you encountered something in the woods.

You have nice photos there, I especially liked the first one for the texture and depth of field you gave it. Nice work.

Thanks a ton, I think that's what make these ones feel so cool to me. It was an ordinary day so the lighting was average but there is so much texture in these mountains I wish I could reach out and touch them.
