Cedar Waxwing a rare sight

This set is from the first time and the last time I saw the colorful Cedar Waxwing. This is in the Weaselhead area at the western edge of the Gelnmore reservoir in Calgary

Fortunately there were several of these birds around so I was able to get a few shots but if I had known I would go years not seeing one I likely would have taken more shots.

Their interesting colors and mask like eyes make for a pretty unique look. I hope that I can encounter them again one day, perhaps in the same spot I first found them.
