My Crypto Journey | My Dream Of Becoming A Successful Cryptocurrency Trader
Hello everyone in LeoFinance community, I joined Hive few days ago, and I published my Introduction Post with the help of @starstrings01. Haven't received a lot of lovely and encouraging comments from different users across the chain. I must admit that joining this platform made me feel fulfilled and excited.
My name is Temiloluwa known as @mistural on the platform. My first ever cryptocurrency Investment was on Litecoin, bought from a local exchange Quidax and that was in July 2020. I bought N50,000 ($100) LTC at the rate of $50 per LTC, and by December the coin went ahead to reach $139 per LTC which I eventually sold, I made almost X3 of my Investment and my enthusiasm for crypto currency grew. I started making researches on concept behind crypto, the history and how to make money on it. Staying up at night watching YouTube videos, I learnt about the first ever cryptocurrencyBitcoin, how it was created to solved the issue of middleman in transaction. Built on a decentralized technology called blockchain, this technology make use of a disturbed ledger to ensure all the connected member have access to the information on the blockchain.
The Beginning Of My Journey
My enthusiasm for crypto skyrocketed, and I'm eager to learn more. I also want to make money from it, so I'm increase the pace on which I conduct researches. During one of my research, I came across the Binance exchange and tried to figure out how it works, how to get verified, and how to buy and sell on it. Eager to get my account verified I join a telegram group, here I met a guy, He was a God-sent crypto trader who showed me how to verify my Binance account and successfully deposit my local money (Naira) using my debit card or bank transfer. He goes on to explain how I can make money by trading, saying that I should buy when the price is low and sell when the price is high. He mentioned he sends out signals for a fee, and because I didn't have any at the time, I didn't opt-in.
I'm excited that I still learnt the basic of trading from him 😃
MY TRADING JOURNEY
I began trading with the little things I learned from him; I buy when the price is low and sell when the price is high, as he instructed; however, the thing appears difficult because whenever I buy thinking I've bought at the lowest, the price continues to fall, so I sell at a loss, and the price begins to rise. This enraged me, and I decided to take a break from trading for a bit.
During the bear market in May 2021, I witnessed a lot of individuals crying about how crypto has ruined their lives and how they have lost millions of dollars. I then came across an article on Twitter titled "How to Trade Successfully Using Technical and Fundamental Analysis."
I didn't understand what the terms technical analysis and fundamental meant, but I was anxious to learn, so as user I stated making researches, watched YouTube videos. And over time, I gradually understand how to read chart patterns and trends using various indicators, as well as how to conduct fundamental analysis by examining coin projects and use cases.
WHY I JOINED LEOFINANCE COMMUNITY
Like I previously stated, I'm still learning how to read assets charts patterns and trend to make successful trading decisions. I do buy and sell coin but I don't put much funds. I want to learn from the from the Crypto gurus and professionals. I know there are many ways to earn money in the crypto world so joining this community will surely expose me to all this ways.
Like I previously stated, I'm still learning how to read asset charts patterns, and trends to predict the future price of the asset. What I just do is buy from people and sell on Binance P2P and pay them with cash, the little money I see I use it to sort out some bills. I haven't invested big money on crypto ever since the last bear where I lost some of my funds. And another thing is that I don't have money to invest also 🙃. The main reason I join this community is to learn from crypto experts and professionals. I'm aware that there are numerous ways to make money in the crypto world, and that joining this community will undoubtedly expose me to all of them. I look forward to meet new people
THE KIND OF POSTS/CONTENTS I'LL BE SHARING
The crypto world is very broad, and I'm still learning. I'll be sharing what I've learned, and I'm confident that newcomers and those with no prior knowledge of crypto will benefit greatly from my work.
The Kind Of Contents I'll be sharing;
- My personal review on some asset chart pattern and project of the asset.
- I will be sharing the latest news on a particular coin, this can aid users to make fundamental analysis on the coin.
- My experience on a particular exchange, the pros and cons of the exchange.
- My view on the current market trend or situation
- My life experience in the world of entrepreneur.
This and many more will be the type of contents I will be sharing.
FINAL WORDS
For the time being, my major sources of income are blogging (Hive) and a mini store where I sell different outfits (Mistural Wears). My dream has always been to make my mother proud, to buy her a large mansion and a beautiful ride (Benz), because she has been the only one caring for me since my she had a misunderstanding with my father. I owe her a great deal. And I believe that with cryptocurrency, I am one step closer to achieving my dream.
I admire each and every member of this community, and I'm eager to meet new people who share my interests. I want to learn from everyone, regardless of how long they've been involved in the crypto world.

Well you can come anytime, I will be sharing some of the knowledge I have acquired, it just a matter of consistency with time one will surely improve. I know the world of Crypto is full of risk especially the trading aspect, but the truth is I'm willing to take the risk, that's why I want to learn from the best to be better that the best
Am beginning to see you as a motivation... You are even willing to take the risk...this alone shows how determined you are.. I envy you determination.. Success is yours
You have some ambitious goals here but this is a very dangerous road. You must know it by now.
I suggest you buy some books about technical analysis and learn the proper way, instead of listening to all kinds of YouTube wannabes, who only care about views, not the viewers. Suggesting calls is easy but you're the one who takes the loss, not them.
Buying low and selling high is what you should do but only if you know where the low is, otherwise it's just gambling.
Research for technical analysis books, start with candlesticks and learn TA. Also I would not advise you to share "How to apply some Indicators and how to configure it (step by step guide)" if you're at the beginning of your learning journey. This is not a game and if you don't fully understand what it is, then you're just confusing others.
I wish you good luck and strength as you're going to need it. This is a very dangerous game, where you can get hurt quickly.

You're right, the issue is when should I buy? When should I sell? But with proper fundamental and technical analysis I can easily predict when I should buy and when I should sell.
Thank you for your advice here, but the thing is that I won't teach what I don't know/understand, I would have make sure I have enough understanding before I teach someone. It all about practice and practice and I'm ready to do that Sir.

I am sure your experience will make good content. But always remember to add that your opinions are not financial advises to be followed and be careful too.
