There were only two days left to present the final work at the art academy, the exam included the sketch, materials, paints, techniques and the final finish.

Ethia was still very young, but she was an artist out of the ordinary, her art was always innovative, captivating, and she was always admired by the observers.

Her passage through that academy had not been easy, her teachers considered her rebellious, and her motto was "I use my own technique", in short, that is art, not copying anyone but nature.

Her creative instinct swirled that afternoon over her eyes and hands, but in her head she could not find something new that was hers, she cried in frustration, as images of her teachers' paintings came to her mind, Ethia refused to create something that had the stamp of others.

She fell asleep for a few minutes in a corner of her painting studio, when she awoke she saw a cup of her favorite drink with a note that read, " get some sleep, and drinking your chocolate drink will awaken your inspiration, I love you." In one corner of the note was drawn a tiny chocolate colored heart.

He grabbed the big cup and took several sips of that drink until there was only a little left, he looked at the bottom and regretted that it was over, but at that moment he kept looking at that delicious liquid to the palate but.... Yes, there was her sublime moment of inspiration, it was not only the color, it was the material she would use to create it, she left her studio straight to the kitchen, she looked at her mother and hugged her and thanked her for the cup of chocolate, then she asked her to give her some of her cocoa powder, her mother looked at her strangely, but smiled inwardly, she knew that awake and bright look of her beloved Ethia, she knew she had finally found the inspiration to present the painting for her final exam at the art academy.

Ethia looked at her mother's collection of jars with condiments, dried herbs, and essences, she took many of those things and took them to her painting studio, Ethia was now not only the artist, she was the alchemist of color, she made mixtures, combined paints, textures and techniques, little by little that white canvas was giving way to the most colorful, seasoned and original painting that that jury would evaluate.
