En Diciembre tuve momentos muy bonitos, a pesar de que fué un mes agridulce y muy difícil para mí familia, hubo destellos de luz en medio de nuestra tristeza, no había podido compartirles esos momentos, ahora después de que llegó algo de Calma a nuestras vidas me ánimo a compartirles uno de esos momentos.

In December, I had some very beautiful moments. Even though it was a bittersweet and very difficult month for my family, there were flashes of light amid our sadness. I hadn't been able to share those moments with you, but now that some calm has returned to our lives, I feel encouraged to share one of those moments with you.

Estar en los momentos importantes de nuestros seres amados es una muestra de lealtad, gratitud y amor, mis padres me dieron todo, aunque no fueron perfectos pues eran muy jóvenes cuando me tuvieron, ahora que soy adulta puedo reconocer todo el sacrificio y todo lo que se esforzaron por darme lo mejor a mi y a mis hermanos.

Mi papá trabajó muy duro desde que se enteró que mi mamá estaba embarazada y eso lo obligó a detener sus estudios de diseño gráfico y centrarse en crecer en la empresa que desde hace 33 años lo ha formado en muchos sentidos.

Being there for our loved ones during important moments is a sign of loyalty, gratitude, and love. My parents gave me everything, even though they weren't perfect because they were very young when they had me. Now that I'm an adult, I can recognize all the sacrifices they made and how hard they worked to give me and my siblings the best.

My dad worked very hard from the moment he found out my mom was pregnant, which forced him to put his graphic design studies on hold and focus on growing the company that has shaped him in so many ways over the past 33 years.

Verlo recibir su titulo de ingeniero después de tanto esfuerzo y estudio fue muy gratificante para mí, me siento orgulloso por su logro y me sentí feliz, de verlo a él tan realizado y con esa alegría de verme allí, es imposible no viajar en el tiempo y recordar todo lo que hemos recorrido a largo de estos años.

Seeing him receive his engineering degree after so much effort and study was very rewarding for me. I feel proud of his achievement and happy to see him so fulfilled and joyful to see me there. It's impossible not to travel back in time and remember everything we've been through over the years.

En estos días renacen las esperanzas de que el país mejore, y eso me da paz y alivio pues estos últimos años mi padre no ha podido recibir el buen fruto de su trabajo y a pesar de que muchos le dijeron que renunciara y buscara algo mejor, el no se rindió pues ama profundamente lo que hace y tiene fé de que pronto mejore en todo sentido su ambiente laboral, sus beneficios, sus ingresos.

These days, hopes are rising that the country will improve, and that gives me peace and relief because in recent years my father has not been able to reap the rewards of his work. Even though many people told him to quit and look for something better, he did not give up because he deeply loves what he does and has faith that soon his work environment, benefits, and income will improve in every way.
