Today I am back with all of you to share with you a pleasant outing with my son, moments like this are worth remembering and treasuring. A few days ago the great Simón Bolívar School Ship of the Merchant Marine arrived in our city. For many years, this ship has been traveling the seas of Venezuela and the world, arriving at each port to be visited by the locals, it is also called "The Ambassador without Borders". Last week, after many years, it arrived at the port of Cumaná, capital of the State of Sucre, Venezuela. Where it opened its doors to receive all the people who wanted to visit it and learn a little more of its history.

Hace unos pocos días llegó a nuestra ciudad el gran Buque Escuela Simón Bolívar de la Marina Mercante. Desde hace muchos años, este Buque recorre los mares de Venezuela y el mundo, llegando en cada Puerto para ser visitado por los locales, es también llamando "El Embajador sin Fronteras". La semana pasada después de muchos años, arribó al puerto de Cumaná, capital del Estado Sucre, Venezuela. Donde abrió sus puertas para recibir a todas las personas que quisieran visitarlo y conocer un poco más de su historia.
As expected, countless people flocked to the port to embark on this famous Merchant Marine ship. From early in the morning there were kilometers long lines of people of all ages wishing to enter the ship, boys and girls excited to meet this great ship. Everyone wanted to take advantage of this opportunity, since it will be many years before it comes again. The city of Cumaná received this School Ship with open arms.
Como era de esperarse, un sin número de personas acudieron masivamente al puerto para poder embarcarse en este Famoso Buque de la Marina Mercante. Desde tempranas horas de la mañana se hicieron colas kilométricas entre personas de todas las edades que deseaban ingresar al Buque, niños y niñas ilusionados con conocer esta grandiosa embarcación. Todos queriendo aprovechar esta oportunidad, ya que antes de que vuelva a venir, pasarán muchos años. La ciudad de Cumaná recibió esté Buque Escuela con los brazos abiertos.
I was no exception, I did not want to miss the opportunity to know this ship, so I went with my son Aidan Jose, who was very enthusiastic and excited to meet him. In spite of the long time we were waiting in line to get in, we made it. We were delighted with the beauty and colorfulness of this ship, the kindness and excellent welcome we received from its crew, the Merchant Marine Cadets and all the history and anecdotes they shared with us while we were on board the Busque. Definitely the wait was worth it, this visit will be a very nice event to remember in the future, hopefully in a few years we can have the opportunity to visit them again when they return to this Port, Their home 🇻🇪❤️
Yo no fuí la excepción, no quise dejar pasar la oportunidad de conocer éste Buque, así que me fuí con mi hijo Aidan Jose, quien estaba muy entusiasmado y emocionado por conocerlo. A pesar del largo tiempo que estuvimos haciendo cola para poder entrar, lo logramos. Quedamos encantados con lo hermoso y vistoso de esta embarcación, la amabilidad y excelente bienvenida que nos dieron sus tripulantes, los Cadetes de la Marina Mercante y toda la historia y anécdotas que nos compartieron estando a bordo del Busque. Definitivamente la espera valió la pena, esta visita sera un suceso muy bonito de recordar en el futuro, esperemos que dentro de unos años podamos tener la oportunidad de volverlos a visitar cuando regresen a este Puerto, Su hogar 🇻🇪❤️
