EL DESVELO
Cada noche pasa lo mismo,
Cierro mis ojos, casi obligados.
Oscuridad que es como un abismo
Dejando mis pensamientos encerrados.
Pero ellos encuentran la llave,
Y se liberan desenfrenadamente.
Mis ojos nuevamente se abren,
Poniendo en marcha mi mente.
Ya me abandonó el sueño,
Pero aún mi mente agotada
Intenta lograr el descanso.
Buscando sentirse calmada.
Una noche de desvelo
Que me lleva a otros lugares.
Que me aleja de mi sueño,
Como se aleja un barco en los mares.
Desvelo que me atormenta
Pensamientos que me invaden
Mi mente siempre despierta,
El descanso ya me evade.
Las voces de mi cabeza
Que se expresan sin parar,
Ideas que se me atraviesan
En la peor hora y lugar.
¿Por qué de noche y en mi cama?
Cuando sólo quiero reposar
Necesito apagar mi mente,
Para intentar descansar.
Desvelo que me acaricia
Que bien me quieres tratar
De una manera egoísta,
Conmigo te quieres quedar.
¡Basta mente! Ya no pienses
Desconéctate unas horas.
Armoniza con mi cuerpo,
Es momento de soñar ahora.

THE UNVEILING.
Every night the same thing happens,
I close my eyes, almost forced.
Darkness that is like an abyss
Leaving my thoughts locked away.
But they find the key,
And they break free wildly.
My eyes again open,
Setting my mind in motion.
Sleep has left me
But still my exhausted mind
Tries to achieve rest.
Seeking to feel calm.
A sleepless night
That takes me to other places.
That takes me away from my dream,
Like a ship on the seas drifts away.
Sleeplessness that torments me
Thoughts that invade me
My mind always awake,
Rest already evades me.
The voices in my head
That express themselves endlessly,
Ideas that cross my mind
At the worst time and place.
Why at night and in my bed?
When I just want to rest
I need to turn off my mind,
To try to rest.
Unveil that caresses me
How well you want to treat me
In a selfish way,
With me you want to stay.
Enough mind! Don't think anymore
Disconnect for a few hours.
Harmonize with my body,
It's time to dream now.
