Gestures that mean so much if we only take the efforts to understand the meaning behind them!!

I realized last year(Dec last month) that I take some things for granted…but there are things which money can’t buy, sooner one realises the nicer.

I am alluding to my Prabha Chithi’s gesture of showing me love her style offering me her homemade ladoos that she wanted to parcel from her place to my home.

At that point of time, I told her no I don’t want her sweets, but I understood, I did something senseless when I sensed the disappointment in her voice. That disappointed tone lingered in my mind, until it manifested clearly when I saw that her gesture was filled a lot of genuine love and enthusiasm. This realisation happened when I found out that the cost of sweets in the market is super costly.

So, sweeter, and more delightful than the ladoos of Prabha Chithi (which I have not tasted) was her intension of sharing it with me, taking pains of parceling it!!

It matters that somebody thinks of you, and you matter something to them. The heart and mind softens, and the marose mood evaporates. Maybe that’s why they say, don’t sideline life and the people who matter to you, however busy you get.

Ideas for creating Prabha Chithi’s birthday card finally emerges!!

Before this I was not even sure I wanted to spend time designing Birthday card for Prabha Chithi that was coming up on December 3rd.

I need to be inspired to create card for somebody, and since I have not met Prabha Chithi for years, I was not acquainted with her nature intimately to get any spark of an idea to develop the theme based on which I can design the card.

Well, I now found my theme… it’s based on her sweet nature she showed on wanting to send me homemade sweets!!

Once the theme formed based on aspects of love, Prabha Chithi’s sweet nature, happiness, celebration. I could easily weave words for the card, but struggled to create the design.

I then thought of putting an image of a ballon smiley and used services of AI image generator for the first time to create an image for the card.

The quality of image surpassed my expectations, as those images generated were brilliant!!

Inspired by the balloon smiley, I finally created a birthday card for my Prabha Chithi.

Here is the Birthday Card I designed for Prabha Chithi last year, included in the post is her inspiring story.
Can’t bake her a birthday cake so created a customised birthday card instead!!

Super hard struggle in designing cards and creative image based content last year!

Last year, my creative abilities in creating banners, infographics, cards subdued for some reason. I struggled a lot in creating this card as I did another birthday card that I designed for my sis-in-law.

My way of showing love to others have been my custom made cards. Again anyone can create decently designed cards in todays age using online tools but my cards have substance designed to make the other person feel special.

The person is made a star in my card and aspects that are true and meaningful to them are highlighted there.

Inspite all my struggles creating cards, I designed another card for a family function last month, I would write about that soon, but needless to say, I struggled a lot in designing that card as well, and if it were not for the main image in the card that I generated using AI, the card would be nothing.

Anyway…

The way I paint my love has been by making cards including special words straight from my heart(:

Yet, I believe these sort of activities really ignites life inside of me, because it feels nice to feel that enthusiasm & real affection you feel brewing for someone else which I can only express in the most genuine fashion through written words floating in a card.

It’s always a challenge for me to design cards, banners etc, it’s a self-consuming activity for me, complementing my words, ideas etc, but it’s always worth it(:
