I'm someone who likes to plan, but so often things happen which knock them off course and then I struggle to improvise. Unfortunately, I've reached a point of giving up with planning because what's the point when they just get knocked off by the need to fit around everyone else's plans instead. It no longer feels like I have any control of my own life now, though. 😅

Thanks for making me laugh, @minimallholding.
I think you continue to plan but in a more open way, as I do, leaving within the planning the "just in case," or plan B. Works better than rigid planning, which is frustrating.
