RE: A Helping Hand in Difficult Times

I find that helping hands and empathy are often more likely to come from those who are also struggling themselves. I have a dear friend who has gone through so much hardship lately and I never want to burden her with my issues, which are petty in comparison. Yet she is always the one to ask how I'm doing and ask if she can help.
