Fishing ~ The First Time Experience

There are always some instincts that we get from our families. Like something that your father possess now you have that too, passed on you as an inheritance. We all have something in particular, right? Maybe looks, character, way of talking, mindsets, habits, intelligence, numerous options to cross check. That same thing won't be like any other similar stuff, it will hit differently, you will understand that specially and it won't fade away easily like the other.

Fishing, among many other common things that I have inherited, fishing is something that hits differently. My father is crazy about fishing, he used to have ponds full of fishes. Those days are long gone, no more ponds in our possession right now.

It was a hot summer day, ah wait, this is the most famous story line, right? Hahaha, but trust me on this, summer is here and the day was really hot, I was feeling like an fried egg without water. Yeah, we were fasting, can't even drink water. The first pond, where we sat for fishing had no trees all around to sit beneath. Those trees you are seeing far from from here were basically on the other pond, not closer to this one to sit. And the hotness of the sun compelled us to leave that pond and move to another, the other one had trees, lots of trees.

Just like my father, my elder brother has an immense addiction for fishing as well. I wasn’t that desperate like them, I used to accompany my brother when he used to go for fishing, in my childhood. He went abroad and came back a few months ago, guess what, he went to fishing with father over and over again in this short vacation of him. I didn’t as it doesn’t trigger me like that.

But a couple of days back, my father told me that he is going fishing, all alone. I thought of accompanying him instead of leaving him alone. After a decade perhaps I will be near the ponds for fishing. He took an extra fishing rod for me. I sat with that, holding like a professional and tried to follow the instructions as he was doing. Can you guess my performance?

The first pond, little one, with excessive heat where we sat first with a hope of big fishes. I caught two, lol. And to the big one, we caught numerous fish though the sizes were not big enough. Even after it was my first time with a fishing rod, dedicated to fishing, I caught a good amount of fish. My father was astonished, when my mother saw these she just complimented this as it is our family instinct, runs in our veins, lol.

So yeah, it was a great weekend for me, I don't know when it will be the next time I will be going fishing. Loved it, I won't miss the next opportunity for sure.
