La Navidad es de los niños. || Christmas belongs to the children.

Hello moms and dads of this beautiful community, I'm stopping by to tell you a little bit about my life as a mom.

Muchas veces cuando era niña escuche a los adultos decir que la navidad era de los niños y pensaba acaso a los adultos no les gusta la navidad? desde que soy mamá entendí que la navidad donde hay niños es algo especial, pues ellos la llenan de inocencia, esperanza y magia.

Many times when I was a child I heard adults say that Christmas was for children and I thought that adults don't like Christmas? since I became a mom I understood that Christmas where there are children is something special, because they fill it with innocence, hope and magic.

El mes de diciembre llega con un aire especial, trae consigo muchas emociones, esperanzas y alegrías. los niños ansiosos esperan al niño Jesús y los adultos que nos gusta la navidad también nos emociona mucho las fiestas de la temporada,en mi caso me llena mucho poder trasmitir a mis hijos nuestras tradiciones tales como: Poner el árbol de Navidad la cual es una ocasión muy linda para compartir en familia.

The month of December arrives with a special air, it brings with it many emotions, hopes and joys. Children anxiously await the baby Jesus and adults who like Christmas are also very excited about the festivities of the season, in my case it fills me a lot to transmit to my children our traditions such as: Putting up the Christmas tree which is a very nice occasion to share as a family.

Otra de nuestras constumbre que me encanta compartir con mis hijos es la preparación nuestro plato navideño, las hallacas. La preparación de las hallacas es un lindo momento para transmitir nuestro legado culinario ya que cada familia tiene su manera de prepararlas.

Another of our constumbre that I love to share with my children is the preparation of our Christmas dish, the hallacas. The preparation of the hallacas is a nice moment to transmit our culinary legacy since each family has its own way of preparing them.

Para lorelei de 6 años, es algo que también le agrada mucho, realizamos este video para compartir su amor por la preparación de las hallacas.

Este año influenciada por las películas de navidad realizamos unas ricas galletas decoradas, la alegría fue demasiado grande para ellos, yo al principio no estaba muy convencida de hacerlas pero al ver sus caras de felicidad me llenó mi corazón de alegría.

This year influenced by the Christmas movies we made some delicious decorated cookies, the joy was too great for them, at first I was not very convinced to make them but seeing their happy faces filled my heart with joy.

Como papás nos llega la búsqueda del Juguete que traerá el niño Jesús, que muchas veces se convierte para nosotros en un dolor de cabeza, sin embargo nos emociona pensar en la cara de felicidad que pondrán nuestros niños con su regalo del niño Jesús.

As parents, the search for the toy that the baby Jesus will bring often becomes a headache for us, but we are thrilled to think of the happy face that our children will put with their gift from the baby Jesus.

Hoy estoy convencida que la navidad es de los niños y no porque no me guste o no la disfrute sino todo lo contrario, porque su alegría, emoción y felicidad hacen mi navidad más especial

Today I am convinced that Christmas belongs to the children and not because I don't like it or don't enjoy it, but on the contrary, because their joy, excitement and happiness make my Christmas more special.
