Wow hace un montón de tiempo que no escribia por aquí, se siente lindo volver ✨. Definitivamente han pasado muchas cosas desde la última vez que realicé un post en esta plataforma y de verdad me emociona contarles absolutamente todo.

Para empezar daré la noticia que me pone más feliz ¡Soy académicamente TSU en fisioterapia! 🥹 De verdad que ese logro lo llevo en mi corazón con mucho cariño, solo yo sé todo el esfuerzo, sacrificios, lágrimas y noches sin dormir que me costó ese título. Amo mi carrera con todo mi corazón no hay espacio en dónde me sienta más agusto que cuando estoy atendiendo pacientes porque no es el trabajo, es como me hace sentir ayudar a los demás ❤️‍🩹.

Wow, it’s been ages since I last wrote here—it feels nice to be back ✨. A lot has definitely happened since the last time I posted on this platform, and I’m truly excited to tell you absolutely everything.

To start off, I’ll share the news that makes me happiest: I’ve earned my TSU degree in physical therapy! 🥹 I truly cherish this achievement deep in my heart—only I know all the effort, sacrifices, tears, and sleepless nights it took to earn that degree. I love my career with all my heart; there’s no place where I feel more at ease than when I’m treating patients, because it’s not just the work—it’s how helping others makes me feel ❤️‍🩹.

Claramente para llegar a ser fisioterapeuta tuve que pasar por pasantías antes de culminar todo. Fueron tres pasantias en total, las primeras fueron todo y más se llevaron mi corazón y me devolvieron la certeza de que estaba en la carrera correcta. No solo porque los pacientes eran increíbles y las personas más nobles y agradecidas del universo, sino porque me tocó un equipo de fisios que fueron la mejor compañía en ese viaje que para mí, era mi primera experiencia en el campo con pacientes reales y de verdad fue súper lindo contar con personas que hicieron mi camino mucho más fácil. ❤️🥹

Mis segundas pasantías fueron las que más me enseñaron y me prepararon como profesional, era un centro más especializado en el cual tuve el honor de tener a la mejor supervisora del mundo, una fisioterapeuta completa que ama enseñar y no duda en dar todo los conocimientos que tiene además de que si te ganas si confianza y su amistad te deja las puertas abiertas de su centro para cuando lo necesites incluso a nivel laboral, ya no como pasantes sino como colegas 😌.

Mis terceras pasantías fueron las más desafiantes ya que era un área que desconocía un poco y no tenía mucha guia de lo que debía hacer exactamente, eran pasantías en el área deportiva y además en un deporte un poco desafiante y difícil de entender como el rugby 🏉, pero así como fueron desafiantes y muy estresantes me llevo a conocer a todo un equipo de jugadores que hoy en día muchos se convirtieron en buenos amigos. Esas pasantias me hicieron viajar con el equipo para los partidos (mi parte favorita), saber cómo lidiar con un equipo de fisioterapeutas bastante amplio en el cual no todo el tiempo nos podíamos poner de acuerdo y muchas veces tuvimos roces, pero esa era la idea saber cómo llevar la comunicación y el trabajo en equipo, tal cual como lo haría un jugador de rugby jaja. De verdad que estas pasantias merecen un post aparte, si que tiene tela que cortar 😏.

Obviously, to become a physical therapist, I had to complete internships before finishing my degree. There were three internships in total; the first ones completely won me over and reaffirmed my belief that I was on the right career path. Not only because the patients were incredible—the kindest and most grateful people in the universe—but also because I was part of a team of physical therapists who were the best companions on that journey. For me, it was my first experience in the field with real patients, and it was truly wonderful to have people who made my path so much easier. ❤️🥹

My second internships were the ones that taught me the most and prepared me as a professional. It was a more specialized center where I had the honor of working with the best supervisor in the world—a well-rounded physical therapist who loves to teach and doesn’t hesitate to share all her knowledge. Plus, if you earn her trust and friendship, she leaves the doors of her center open for you whenever you need it, even for work, no longer as interns but as colleagues 😌.

My third set of internships was the most challenging because it was an area I wasn’t very familiar with, and I didn’t have much guidance on exactly what I was supposed to do. They were internships in the sports field—and in a sport that’s a bit challenging and hard to understand, like rugby 🏉— but even though they were challenging and very stressful, they led me to meet a whole team of players, many of whom have since become good friends. Those internships had me traveling with the team to games (my favorite part), learning how to work with a fairly large team of physical therapists—with whom we didn’t always see eye to eye and often had disagreements—but that was the whole point: to learn how to handle communication and teamwork, just like a rugby player would, haha. Honestly, these internships deserve their own post—there’s plenty to talk about 😏.

Después de mucho tiempo, de vivir altibajos en cada pasantias y en la carrera como tal al fin pude llegar a esa tan esperada meta, la culminación del TSU.

Aún continuo sacando mi licenciatura, de hecho acabo de culminar mi primer trimestre de ella, pero el TSU me dió el titulo de fisioterapeuta y la luz verde para trabajar como profesional en el área aunque aún estoy en proceso de titulación Pero por ahora tenemos carta de culminación. Es una de las etapas más lindas de mi vida y que de verdad siempre la llevaré en el corazón sobre todo como un recordatorio de que las cosas no siempre se dan como nosotros las queremos sino como el destino las tiene preparada para ti, y esa siempre será la mejor manera ✨😊.

Hasta ahora he tenido trabajo atendiendo pacientes por mi cuenta cuando se contactan conmigo, y si, es mi happy place jaja. Solo espero a que me den el título para poder registrarme y trabajar en un hospital o clínica tranquilamente como algo estable, pero sin desesperarse en el proceso para no hacer más larga la espera 😌.

After a long time, having experienced ups and downs during each internship and throughout my academic career, I was finally able to reach that long-awaited goal: the completion of my TSU.

I’m still working on my bachelor’s degree—in fact, I just finished my first semester of it—but the TSU gave me the title of physical therapist and the green light to work as a professional in the field, even though I’m still in the process of obtaining my degree. But for now, we have a certificate of completion. It’s one of the most beautiful stages of my life, and I’ll truly always carry it in my heart—especially as a reminder that things don’t always turn out the way we want them to, but rather the way fate has them planned for you, and that will always be for the best ✨😊.

So far, I’ve been seeing patients on my own when they reach out to me, and yes, it’s my happy place, haha. I’m just waiting to receive my official degree so I can register and work in a hospital or clinic with peace of mind—something stable—but without getting too anxious about the process so I don’t make the wait any longer 😌.

Definitivamente se siente bien volver a escribir, siempre me ha encantado contar las cosas buenas que me pasan y todo por medio de la escritura ya que es la manera en la que me comunico con más fluidez. Hive ha Sido por mucho un espacio seguro para compartir momentos e ideas y eso no tiene por qué cambiar.

It definitely feels good to be writing again. I’ve always loved sharing the good things that happen to me, and I do it all through writing because that’s how I communicate most fluently. Hive has long been a safe space for me to share moments and ideas, and that doesn’t have to change.
