Hello everyone! Easter is just around the corner in Italy, and it's a lively time for buying chocolate eggs. It's a very exciting festival, especially for children, who look forward to the surprise of what's inside the egg. Usually, it's a toy, and the children have a lot of fun guessing. It's not just for kids; adults love this festival too. It's a family festival where people spend time together. Department stores and shops sell chocolate eggs, and people buy them for each other, but they sell out very quickly.

Today, we're doing the same. We went to the department store to look at chocolates. We're buying some for our friend's children because we're having dinner at their house tomorrow, and we'll be getting Easter eggs for them. For the adults, we'll be giving bread, another symbol of Easter.

We went to Y'Per, a large department store in the city. It was packed with people, all heading to the Easter egg section. We spent a long time choosing because it's hard to tell if the children will like them. Our friend's children will probably like the Easter eggs we buy for them, but we don't know if they'll actually like them. It's fun to guess together! I also bought some bird-shaped bread as a gift for my friend.

As Easter approaches, this year it falls on the fifth of April. We'll probably celebrate with family, but we went out to eat with friends, which also served as an Easter celebration. It's nice to see each other after so long and enjoy delicious food – it was a wonderful feeling.

And this is another activity I did on this day: shopping for Easter gifts for the kids. What did everyone else do this holiday? Share your stories!
