Foodie time : Japanese restaurant “Batter Sushi”🍣

Foodie time.png

Hi everyone! It's been a while since we went for sushi. Normally we go very often, but it's been almost two months. This time, it's finally time for sushi again! I chose a restaurant called Better Sushi, a Japanese restaurant in Tortona. We've eaten here once before, but that was when it first opened and things weren't quite settled yet. We wanted to try it again, so we chose this restaurant. We paid using the "all you can get" system, meaning we paid one price but drinks were separate. Let's see what we ordered!

After walking into the restaurant, a staff member greeted us and led us to a table. They handed us an iPad with the menu. We started looking at the menu and choosing our orders. Each serving allows us to order 12 items, and we ordered about 4 minutes apart. We started with seaweed soup and various other dishes.

Since it was lunchtime, most of the dishes we ordered were salmon, because sushi restaurants usually feature salmon as their signature ingredient. However, sometimes when I eat Japanese food, I don't eat much salmon, but I felt like I hadn't had it in a while, so I wanted to order some salmon.

Mostly, we ate sushi, ordering two pieces of each kind, with varying orders. The taste was similar to other restaurants, not much difference. The fish was still fresh and delicious. We kept ordering more and more dishes. Today, we ordered stir-fried vegetables to try.

For grilled dishes, we had my favorite, shrimp skewers, and grilled salmon. Besides that, we had one or two pieces of each type of sushi roll.

We shared everything we ordered, eating a little bit each, so we got to try a variety of things. It was a great day!

I liked the seaweed-wrapped fried shrimp; it was probably battered and fried shrimp, and it went well together. I also ordered an extra tuna seaweed-wrapped dish, which we shared in half. Other dishes included dim sum, the usual things we order when we go to Japan. This was our lunch.

Today, we were foodies at Better Sushi, a Japanese restaurant. It was delicious, clean, and the service was good and fast. We had a very enjoyable meal. What did you all eat? Share your menus! I hope everyone enjoys my photos and stories. Thank you for following. Have a great day!
