La Bestia Congorocho | Macrophotography

Esta es la segunda parte de esta historia sobre cómo le tomé fotos a este extraordinario insecto, hoy te voy a contar por qué decidí titular La Bestia Congorocho.

This is the second part of this story about how I took pictures of this extraordinary insect, today I'm going to tell you why I decided to call it The Congorocho Beast.

Acá, antes del ataque, en su primera sesión de fotos, simplemente se comportó como La Bella Congorocho y si lees el post sabrás porqué.

Here, before the attack, in his first photo session, he simply behaved like The Beauty Congorocho and if you read the post you will know why.

Lo cierto es que luego de conducir con una rama al insecto hacia el piso, inmediatamente que puso sus pies en el suelo y yo me recosté con el celular para seguir tomándole fotos, el congorocho se abalanzó con gran velocidad hacia el teléfono.

The truth is that after I guided the insect to the ground with a branch, as soon as it put its feet on the floor and I leaned back with the cell phone to continue taking pictures, the congorocho rushed with great speed towards the phone.

De alguna forma, lucía furioso, enojado. Supe que en verdad estaba de mal humor contra mí porque yo cambié de ubicación varias veces para tener diversos ángulos y él cada vez me persiguió tratando de alcanzarme.

Somehow, he looked furious, angry. I knew he was really in a bad mood against me because I changed location several times to get different angles and each time he chased me trying to catch me.

Tanta era su velocidad, que la mayoría de las imágenes quedaron desenfocadas, pocas dieron justo en el foco adecuado y la luz era muy buena.

His speed was such that most of the pictures were out of focus, few were in the right focus and the light was very good.
