[ESP/ENG] Cars 2 (2010) - Review: “más que una como secuela me gusta verla como un spin-off”
Hola hive, hoy les quiero hablar sobre una película que tiene unas opiniones bastante polarizantes, como en todo hay personas a las que les gusta esta película pero también hay personas a las que no les gusta, así que hace unos días tuve la oportunidad de volverla a ver y decidí ser un poco más objetivo y critico, así que por eso es que hoy les vengo a hablar sobre Cars 2
Cars 2 es una película animada lanzada en el 2010 por Walt Disney y Pixar Animation Studios, obviamente es la secuela de cars (2005) sin embargo el enfoque de esta película es un poco distinto, decide irse por una historia de espionaje, algo bastante ajeno a lo que se esperaba de esta película. Ya dicho esto comencemos!
Cabe destacar que tuve la oportunidad de ver esta película en cine y la verdad es que cuando está película fue lanzada era bastante pequeño, es curioso porque tengo recuerdos de la primera vez que la vi y obviamente no tenía muchos conocimientos sobre cine, simplemente me limitaba e pensar en “¿me di gustó o no? Y eso era todo, por eso ahora puedo verla de forma objetiva y ver que tan Bueno eran los gustos de ese pequeño yo.
Como ya dije cars 2 es una secuela, sin embargo no existe mucha relación entre la primera y no continúa la historia, para mi esta película es un Spin off, porque aunque el titulo nos haga pensar que es una secuela, cars 2 tiene muchísimo mas sentido si la vemos desde una perspectiva de spin off, empezando porque el protagonista de esta es Mate y toda la historia se desarrolla entorno a este personaje.
Ahora en cuanto a la historia en si genuinamente me gusta bastante, yo entiendo que cars 1 es una película genial y tal ver por esa razón esta siempre quedo opacada, pero la verdad es que desde mi opinión la trama, el ritmo y los giros que tiene este historia son bastante buenos, entiendo el argumento de que no se siente como una película de cars, pero si la disfrutamos como algo aislado siento que tiene potencial.
Cars 2 logra introducirnos personajes nuevos y aunque a muchos no nos haya gustado que los personajes principales hayan sido dejados de Segundo plano, pero la realidad es que a su vez logramos empatizar y agarrarle cariño súper rápido a los nuevos personajes y eso habla muy bien de la película.
En cuanto a la estética de esta película es bastante bonita, pixar siempre nos ha acostumbrado a tener una animación impecable y esta no es la excepción, debo admitir que cuando vi esta película en cine quede totalmente enganchado por lo bonita que es, aparte esta película cuenta con más momentos de acción en los cual quedaba totalmente sorprendido.
Algo que nunca me ha quedado muy claro es si esta película es canon o no, existen muchas teorías que explican como todo es una simple alucinación de mate y en realidad tiene bastante sentido, es más, la misma película juega con esto en su final, no dejándonos claro si todo lo que vimos realmente pasó o no, y siento que haber hecho esto fue lo mejor porque siento que la franquicia no podía seguir por este camino, como dije, está película funciona como algo aislado pero no veo como podría tener una buena continuidad.
Otro factor destacable de la película es su bonito mensaje, el valor e importancia que se le debe dar a una buena amistad, a veces por simple egoísmo nos alejamos de las personas que queremos hasta sin darnos cuenta y perdemos personas valiosas en nuestras vidas.
Se que hay personas a las que no les va a gustar mi opinión, pero tengo que decirlo, me encanta esta película, estoy de acuerdo que no es mejor que la primera, estoy de acuerdo en que se aleja mucho del concepto de “secuela”, entiendo que hubo cambios que tal vez no eran necesarios, pero la verdad es que el yo del 2010 disfruto mucho esta película porque me acuerdo que quede fascinado y he tenido la oportunidad de ver esta película muchas veces y no me aburre para nada. En lo personal la recomiendo, siento que hubiese sido mejor si fuera un spin off, pero tal vez esto no llamaría a tanta gente como el título “cars 2”.

Hi hive, today I want to talk about a movie that has some pretty polarizing opinions, as in everything there are people who like this movie but there are also people who do not like it, so a few days ago I had the opportunity to see it again and I decided to be a little more objective and critical, so that's why today I come to talk about Cars 2.
Cars 2 is an animated movie released in 2010 by Walt Disney and Pixar Animation Studios, obviously it is the sequel to Cars (2005) however the focus of this movie is a little different, it decides to go for an espionage story, something quite alien to what was expected from this movie. That being said, let's get started!
It should be noted that I had the opportunity to see this movie in theaters and the truth is that when this movie was released I was quite small, it's funny because I have memories of the first time I saw it and obviously I didn't have much knowledge about cinema, I just thought "did I like it or not? And that was it, so now I can watch it objectively and see how good the tastes of that little me were.
As I said cars 2 is a sequel, however there is not much relationship between the first and does not continue the story, for me this movie is a spin off, because although the title makes us think it is a sequel, cars 2 makes much more sense if we see it from a spin off perspective, starting because the protagonist of this is Mate and the whole story is developed around this character.
Now as for the story itself I genuinely like it a lot, I understand that cars 1 is a great movie and maybe for that reason this one was always overshadowed, but the truth is that from my opinion the plot, the rhythm and the twists that this story has are pretty good, I understand the argument that it doesn't feel like a cars movie, but if we enjoy it as something isolated I feel it has potential.
Cars 2 manages to introduce new characters and although many of us did not like that the main characters have been left in the background, but the reality is that in turn we managed to empathize and get attached super fast to the new characters and that speaks very well of the film.
As for the aesthetics of this film is quite nice, Pixar has always accustomed us to have an impeccable animation and this is no exception, I must admit that when I saw this movie in the theater I was totally hooked by how beautiful it is, besides this film has more moments of action in which I was totally surprised.
Something that has never been very clear to me is if this movie is canon or not, there are many theories that explain how everything is a simple hallucination of mate and actually makes quite a lot of sense, moreover, the movie itself plays with this in its ending, not making it clear if everything we saw really happened or not, and I feel that having done this was the best thing because I feel that the franchise could not continue this way, as I said, this movie works as something isolated but I do not see how it could have a good continuity.
Another remarkable factor of the film is its beautiful message, the value and importance that should be given to a good friendship, sometimes by simple selfishness we move away from the people we love even without realizing it and we lose valuable people in our lives.
I know that there are people who will not like my opinion, but I have to say it, I love this movie, I agree that it is not better than the first one, I agree that it is far away from the concept of "sequel", I understand that there were changes that perhaps were not necessary, but the truth is that the me of 2010 I really enjoy this movie because I remember that I was fascinated and I have had the opportunity to see this movie many times and I do not get bored at all. Personally I recommend it, I feel it would have been better if it was a spin off, but maybe this would not appeal to as many people as the title "cars 2".

Es una secuela tonta pero divertida, sin duda es la más odiada de toda la trilogía y no es difícil entender por qué... En mi caso, me quedo con las otras dos a pesar de que le veo el valor a esta.
