Something under her bed [EN-ES] (fiction tale)
I don't remember exactly the date, but it was August when it happened. I had heard a few comments about what happened but didn't know more.
Being at my brother's house along with a cousin was how I found out the strange details. It got us thinking. We couldn't find an answer to it, assuming that what the girl's parents said was true, although why would they tell lies about something like that.

Here is the story. The girl was then 12 years old, the only daughter of a married couple of teachers. And this happened in a town about an hour away from where I live.
That August night, the family went to bed, locked the doors and turned off the lights. At about 2 o'clock in the morning they hear several loud screams from the girl's room. The parents go out there totally frightened.
When they arrive they see their little girl on the floor clutching her foot. She had a wound that was not too serious but needed treatment. The gentleman, the father, checked her and without hesitation they took her to the emergency room where they put stitches, we don't know how many but according to my cousin who is a doctor, there must have been more than 6.
The wound was very strange, I knew that because that was the rumor I had heard. It looked like a wild animal had taken a bite out of it but not completely, it kind of tasted and let go.
The girl said she had woken up and was going to get some water in the kitchen. When she put her feet on the floor she felt something from under her bed grab her right leg, above the ankle and drag her. The sudden movement knocked her to the floor and that's when she felt the thing bite her foot just above her ankle but a little lower than where it had grabbed her.
She said the strange creature that grabbed her had like scaly or stinging hands.
It took a bite out of her and then let go. But she didn't see any creature or hear any escaping noises from the critter. It just disappeared.
When the dad found her the little girl said something had bitten her. The dad just checked a little but had to take her to the hospital. But after she was treated they checked the whole house and found nothing. No trace of anything that had been living there.
So far no one knows what bit her. She recovered although she was terribly afraid to sleep in her room and she must have slept with her parents, I guess. Very strange, isn't it?
Algo debajo de su cama
Hace 3 años escuché que a una niña la había atacado una criatura extraña en su propio cuarto.
No recuerdo exactamente la fecha, pero era agosto cuando ocurrió. Yo había escuchado unos comentarios de lo que pasó pero no sabía más.
Estando en la casa de mi hermano junto con un primo fue como me enteré de los extraños detalles. Nos dejó pensando. No le encontramos respuesta, suponiendo que lo que dijeron los padres de la niña era cierto, aunque porque dirían mentiras de algo así.
Ésta es la historia. La niña tenía en ese entonces 12 años, era la única hija de un matrimonio de profesores. Y esto ocurrió en una ciudad que está a una hora de donde vivo.
Aquella noche de agosto, la familia se fue a dormir, cerraron las puertas y apagaron las luces. A eso de las 2 de la mañana oyen varios gritos fuertes del cuarto de la niña. Los padres salen hacia allá totalmente asustados.
Cuando llegan ven a su niña en el suelo agarrándose el pie. Tenía una herida que no era de excesiva seriedad pero ameritaba tratamiento. El señor, el padre, la reviso y sin dudarlo la llevaron a emergencia donde le pusieron puntadas, no sabemos cuantas pero según me dijo mi primo que es médico, debieron ser más de 6.
La herida era muy extraña, eso sí lo sabía porque ese fue el rumor que había escuchado. Parecía como si un animal salvaje le hubiese dado un mordisco pero no totalmente, como que probo y soltó.
La niña dijo que se había despertado y que iba a tomar agua a la cocina. Cuando puso los pies en el suelo sintió que algo desde debajo de su cama le agarró la pierna derecha, por encima del tobillo y la arrastró. El movimiento brusco la tiró al suelo y fue cuando sintió que la cosa le mordía el pie justo encima de tobillo pero un poco más abajo de donde la había agarrado.
Dijo que la criatura extraña que la agarró tenía como manos escamosas o punzantes.
Le dio una mordida y luego la soltó. Pero no vio ninguna criatura ni oyó ruidos de escape del bicho. Sólo desapareció.
Cuando el papá la encontró la niña decía que algo le había mordido. El papá apenas revisó un poco pero tenía que llevarla al hospital. Pero después que ya estaba tratada revisaron toda la casa y no encontraron nada. Ni rastros de algo que hubiese estado viviendo por ahí.
Hasta ahora nadie sabe qué rayos la mordió. Ella se recuperó aunque estuvo con un miedo terrible de dormir en su cuarto y habrá dormido con su padres, supongo. Muy raro todo, ¿no?
