Mother's day in Argentina! ❤️// Día de la madre en argentina! ❤️

Hi everyone! I wanted to tell you that here in Argentina last weekend, October 17, we celebrated Mother's Day ❤️❤️❤️

Hola a todos! Quería contarles que acá en argentina el fin de semana pasado, el 17 de octubre, celebramos el día de la madre.

I don't know how it is in other countries, but we usually meet with our mothers that day and give them gifts as a way of appreciation.

No sé como es en otros países, pero nosotros acostumbramos a reunirnos con nuestras mamás ese día y hacerles regalos en modo de agradecimiento.

My gift was different this year because my mother is diabetic but she was not taking care with her meals so a few days before she had to undergo emergency surgery and they removed her gallbladder. So now she can't really eat any junk food or salt. These are examples of what to eat now.

Mi regalo fue diferente este año porque mi mamá es diabética pero no se estuvo cuidando con las comidas así que unos días antes tuvo que ser operada de urgencia y le extirparon la vesícula. Por lo que ahora realmente no puede comer nada de comida chatarra ni sal. Estos son ejemplos de lo que tiene que comer ahora.

When trying to find a gift, I found that they only sold chocolates, wines, sausages, things that she cannot consume, so it occurred to me to see what she could and I gave her some.

Al tratar de encontrar un regalo, me encontré con que solo vendían chocolates, vinos, fiambres, cosas que ella no puede consumir así que se me ocurrió ver qué cosas sí y le regalé algunas.

We were very happy. Her because the food without added flavor is not funny and I because she liked it 😁

Estábamos muy contentas. Ella porque la comida sin sabor agregado no tiene gracia y yo porque le gustó 😁

Later, with my girlfriend we went to see my mother-in-law. My brothers-in-law and their partners made her a breakfast.

Por otro lado, más tarde, con mi novia fuimos a ver a mi suegra. A ella, mis cuñados y sus parejas le hicieron un desayuno.

And we give her a perfume, the style she likes.

Y nosotras le regalamos un perfume, del estilo que le gusta.

To end this hyper-long day, in the afternoon we went alone to a recital in the open air and then to dinner, because we will not have human children but we have feline babies and we also deserved a celebration for our maternal efforts.

Para terminar con este día hiper largo, a la tarde nosotras nos fuimos solas a un recital al aire libre y luego a cenar, porque no tendremos hijos humanos pero sí hijos felinos y nos merecíamos un festejo también por nuestro esfuerzo maternal.
