Starting the weekend early with a ride!
Yesterday I decided it was time to get away from my work early to clear my mind. I'm doing research for a living, and sometimes when you get stuck with some work related thing, it tends to take up your mind just too much!
My solution to this is just to step away and do something that physically drains you. Cycling.
I left the house for a ride in the direction Belgium. I used to ride there a lot, but somehow the past year I just didn't wonder into Belgium very far. This time though, I loaded up an old route to my bike computer. The route takes you around a few man-made lakes and some beautiful and quite roads through the forrest. I ended up doing slightly below 100 kilometers and it felt great! Belgium is just such a nice country to ride your bike! Not to mention the rich cycling history around every corner!

Nice ride, it’s a beautiful region to ride in. Here in West-Vlaanderen everything is just… flat 😉
