*A Day in My Life: Harvesting Our Abundant Lanzones and Rambutan

Today was another meaningful and productive day for our family. Early in the morning, we prepared ourselves for one of the most exciting parts of the season—harvesting the fruits from our backyard. The weather was pleasant, making it a perfect day to gather the fresh lanzones and rambutan that had finally ripened after months of patiently taking care of the trees.

As soon as we started, everyone had their own task. Some picked the fruits from the trees while others carefully collected them and brought them to our working area. Seeing piles of fresh lanzones and colorful rambutan made us feel happy because they were the result of our hard work and dedication. Every fruit reminded us that patience and proper care always bring wonderful rewards.

After gathering all the fruits, we began sorting them according to their quality. We removed damaged fruits and separated the best ones for selling. We also weighed the lanzones carefully using our old weighing scale to make sure every buyer would receive the correct amount. It took time and effort, but we enjoyed working together because every member of the family helped. Teamwork made our work lighter and more enjoyable.

The bright red and yellow rambutans looked very attractive beside the creamy-colored lanzones. Looking at them made us appreciate the beauty of nature and the blessings God has given us. We were thankful that our trees produced plenty of fruits this year despite the challenges brought by changing weather conditions.

After sorting and weighing everything, we prepared the fruits for selling. We packed them neatly so they would stay fresh while being transported to the market. We hope many customers will buy them because the money we earn will help support our family's daily needs. Every kilogram we sell represents our hard work, patience, and determination to provide for our family.

This experience reminded me that farming is not an easy job. It requires dedication, patience, and physical effort. Although harvesting can be tiring, the happiness we feel after seeing the fruits of our labor is truly priceless. Working together with my family also strengthened our bond because we shared laughter, stories, and encouragement throughout the day.

As the day came to an end, we felt tired but satisfied. Our baskets were filled with fresh lanzones and rambutan, ready to be sold. We thanked God for blessing us with a fruitful harvest and for giving us another opportunity to earn from the fruits of our labor.

Today will always be one of those simple yet memorable days in my life—a day filled with family, teamwork, gratitude, and hope. Harvesting our abundant lanzones and rambutan was more than just preparing fruits for the market; it was a beautiful reminder that every hard-earned harvest is a blessing worth celebrating.
