Creatividad Azul en Navidad 2025: Árbol hecho con cartón de huevos [ENG-ESP]
¡Hola, queridos amigos gente de la comunidad @mundo.autismo !
Es un placer saludarles y de sumarme a la iniciativa #CreatividadAzul 2025. Les presento mi arbolito azul de material de provecho (cartón de huevos). Lo acompañé de un corazón hecho de cartón y piezas de foami que forman un rompecabezas, símbolo de inclusión y que nos recuerda el mensaje que en este mundo: "Todos encajamos".
Participar en esta iniciativa me regresó a una época muy bonita, porque durante la etapa escolar de mi hijo, tuvimos la fortuna de formar parte de la Escuela Comunitaria "Luisa Goiticoa ubicada en la Av. Andrés Bello de Caracas, que tiene un proyecto educativo de inclusión precioso. Allí convivimos con "niños azules" y sus familiares y no tienen idea de los momentos compartidos, amistades que surgieron y de las grandes lecciones de vida que aprendimos.
Y curiosamente este año no armé mi árbol grande, pero HIVE me inspiró a crear y éste es mi tercer árbol miniatura hecho por mí, así que cierro con broche de oro mis post sobre arbolitos navideños.

It is a pleasure to greet you and join the #CreatividadAzul 2025 initiative. I present my blue tree made from recycled materials (egg cartons). I accompanied it with a heart made of cardboard and foam pieces that form a puzzle, a symbol of inclusion that reminds us of the message that in this world, “We all fit in.”
Participating in this initiative took me back to a very beautiful time, because during my son's school years, we were fortunate to be part of the Luisa Goiticoa Community School
located on Andrés Bello Avenue in Caracas, which has a wonderful educational inclusion project. There we lived alongside “blue children” and their families, and you have no idea of the moments we shared, the friendships that blossomed, and the great life lessons we learned.
And curiously, this year I didn't put up my big tree, but HIVE inspired me to create, and this is my third miniature tree made by me, so I'm ending my posts about Christmas trees on a high note.
Materiales/ Materials
- Cartones de huevo ( usé 2 piezas de donde viene el 1/2 cartón)
- Pinturas al frío azul.
- Pinturas al frió de otros colores
- Marcador
- Esferas navideñas
- Atomizador con agua
- Pistola de silicón y barra
- Cinta azul
- Hilo y aguja
- Pincel grueso
- Un trocito de alambre
- Tijera
- Foami de colores
- Lápiz
- Un trozo de cartón
- Egg cartons (I used 2 pieces from where the 1/2 carton comes from)
- Blue cold paint
- Cold paints in other colors
- Markers
- Christmas baubles
- Water spray bottle
- Silicone gun and stick
- Blue tape
- Thread and needle
- Thick paintbrush
- A small piece of wire
- Scissors
- Colored foam
- Pencil
- A piece of cardboard
Paso a Paso / Step by step
Paso 1 / Step 1
Comencé recortando los bordes del cartón de huevos para quitar las partes irregulares. Luego, lo humedecí con un atomizador para ablandarlo y poder doblarlo con facilidad.
I started by trimming the edges of the egg carton to remove any uneven parts. Then, I moistened it with a spray bottle to soften it so that I could bend it easily.

Paso 2 / Step 2
Una vez flexible el cartón, realicé un doblez tipo acordeón en uno de los extremos, asegurándolo con un alambre suave. Repetí el mismo procedimiento con la segunda pieza.
Once the cardboard was flexible, I made an accordion-style fold at one end, securing it with soft wire. I repeated the same procedure with the second piece.

Paso 3 / Step 3
Quité los alambres y, como pueden ver, el cartón mantuvo su forma plisada. Procedí a pintar las piezas de azul y una vez secas, las uní por los extremos con cuidado. Un pequeño consejo: es mejor unir las piezas antes de pintar. Al pegarlas después, quedaron espacios en blanco, por lo que tuve que dar unos retoques de pintura para cubrir esos detalles.
I removed the wires and, as you can see, the cardboard kept its pleated shape. I painted the pieces blue and, once dry, carefully joined them together at the ends. A little tip: it's better to join the pieces before painting. When I glued them together afterwards, there were gaps, so I had to touch up the paint to cover those details.

Paso 4 / Step 4
Es el turno de pegar las esferas con silicón, en cada uno de los orificios del frente del arbolito, para los cuales utilicé esferas plateadas y azules.
Now it's time to glue the balls with silicone into each of the holes on the front of the tree. I used silver and blue balls.
Paso 5 / Step 5
Con las cintas azules, hice un lazo, cosí con hilo y aguja. Lo fijé en el arbolito justo en la marca de los pliegues.
With the blue ribbons, I made a bow and sewed it on with thread and a needle. I attached it to the tree right at the crease mark.

Paso 6 / Step 6
Dibujé un corazón en el cartón y lo pinté también de color azul .En el foami dibujé piezas de rompecabezas. Recorté las piezas y pegué sobre el corazón. Luego con un marcador les hice un borde y con pintura al frio hice algunas pinceladas sobre el foami para crear un efecto de relieve. Tanto el uso del marcador como de estas pinturas se me ocurrió luego por eso no están en la foto de los materiales.
I drew a heart on the cardboard and painted it blue. I drew puzzle pieces on the foam. I cut out the pieces and glued them onto the heart. Then I outlined them with a marker and used cold paint to add some brushstrokes to the foam to create a relief effect. I came up with the idea of using the marker and these paints later, which is why they are not listed in the materials section.

Paso 7 / Step 7
Y para finalizar pegué el corazón encima del lazo.
And finally, I glued the heart on top of the bow.
