Ser de profesión Docente y haber vivido 28 años en espacios escolares es una experiencia que hay que compartir.

Los espacios de una escuela son hermosos cuando están llenos de los niños que son atendidos en ellos. Recreos con niños corriendo, jugando ante la mirada de sus docentes que están atentos a ellos por si llegase a ocurrir algo.

Being a teacher by profession and having lived 28 years in school spaces is an experience to be shared.
The spaces of a school are beautiful when they are full of children who are cared for in them. Recesses with children running around, playing before the eyes of their teachers who are attentive to them in case something should happen.

Este pasillo me recuerda la escuela donde trabajé que tiene un escenario, a la hora del recreo se llenaba con grupos de niños que disfrutaban imitando bailes en el. En épocas que por razones solo asistían los docentes todos decían los niños jugando hace falta ese ruido.

This hallway reminds me of the school where I worked that has a stage, at recess time it was filled with groups of children who enjoyed imitating dances on it. At times when only the teachers were there, everyone would say that the children were playing and that noise was needed.

En ese escenario cada día de la madre, culminación de año escolar, festividades de navidad se llenaba con las actividades culturales que solían planificarse de acuerdo a cada fecha a celebrar.

In this scenario, every Mother's Day, end of the school year, Christmas festivities were filled with cultural activities that were planned according to each date to be celebrated.

Las declamaciones y canciones de niños que se destacaban en estas áreas para el día de la madre. Bailes y promociones en la culminación del año escolar. Nacimiento viviente, aguinaldos en época decembrina.

The declamations and songs of children who excelled in these areas for Mother's Day. Dances and promotions at the end of the school year. Living nativity, aguinaldos during the Christmas season.

Así mismo, los niños en épocas de vacaciones anhelaban asistir a la escuela , ver a sus amiguitas las niñas, amiguitos los niños, compartir , reír, jugar. En sus rostros se observaba sus deseos de volver y cuando ya ingresaban de nuevo la alegría de asistir a clases.

Likewise, during vacation time, the children longed to go to school, to see their little girl friends, their little boy friends, to share, to laugh, to play. In their faces you could see their desire to return and when they returned to school the joy of attending classes.

Si ese escenario hablara como suele decirse, porque era abierto servía para hacer deporte con los profesores de esa área, reuniones con la comunidad educativa por ser un espacio abierto, era solicitado para realizar diversas actividades de la comunidad de instituciones que hacían vida en los alrededores.

If this scenario were to speak, as it is often said, because it was open, it was used for sports with the teachers of that area, meetings with the educational community because it was an open space, it was requested for various activities of the community of institutions that lived in the surrounding area.

La otra parte es ver como después de estos años sus instalaciones son maltratadas al no hacer las debidas reparaciones a tiempo. Eso da tristeza.

The other part is to see how after all these years their facilities are mistreated by not making the proper repairs on time. This is saddening.
