Exploring Coksbir Prime : The Corrupting Swarm

Today, I continue my explorations in the infinite universe of No Man's Sky. As usual, I love to do my daily quicksilver grind through missions from Nexus at Space Anomaly.

Today's mission ordered me to find a planet blighted by corrupted entities and then destroy 5 dissonance resonators. I remember when I first encountered this kind of planet, I found many sentinels there. So extra care was needed to make sure everything went smoothly.

After leaving the space anomaly, I started my pulse engine, then engaged a pulse jump to the targeted dissonant planet, named Coksbir Prime.

This dissonant planet was different from the one that I visited before. Apparently, it has lots of giant flowers and mountains everywhere and has red water.

Successfully landed on the targeted area. I saw a familiar camp. This is the Harmonic Camp. I found my last Harmonic Camp using Echo Locator that dropped from Corrupted Sentinel Quadruped.

I am super excited to see what mutiltools inside the cabinet. I want a sentinel rifle because I already have the mining pistol.

Too bad, after unlocking the multitool cabinet, there was only a pistol in there, just like mine. Apparently, mine is better. So just leave it there and continue my main objective for today.

While following the signal tracking direction, I found this giant butterfly, called A. Magnetosuitus. It occasionally eats rocks and produces craw milk. I have one registered as my companion, blue in color, that I found on a moon long ago. What I love about it is that the flighty behaviour and you can ride it.

After walking on foot for a while, I realised that the Dissonance Resonators was really hard to find on this planet. Last time, it was easy to find. The mountainous terrain also makes searching difficult. Well, I enjoy walking on foot and scanning all the available flora and fauna for free units, but it seems like the walk already took forever.

I grab one of the A. Magnetosuitus, fly around, and have fun. We discovered Ajecto Post. There were a few familiar buildings nearby. One of them has the terminal to locate a Distress Signal, but it doesn't bother me to do it now.

There was a time I dove into the water just to cross it, following the visor's direction. Of course I scanned the minerals and fauna that I found underwater; how could I leave free units lying around?

When I reached the other side of the land, I remembered that I hadn't hatched Lila's egg yet! It should be ready to be hatched. I spent 20k nanites to unlock a new companion slot just so I could register Lila's child, Kokot! I have a new companion! Yay!

Kokot seem super exciting! Now, to my curiosity, can Kokot grow in any environment? Our adventures in the future will answer that. I am excited to have Kokot on my side. It'll be sentimental to watch it grow from young to mature.

I tried to ride Kokot, but seem like, it cannot carry me yet. Kokot cannot walk properly will carrying me. It just born and I demand a ride, how cruelpid is that! ahaha.

Then I continued my walks, to search the Dissonance Resonators. I came across this stunning view; it's a must to take a screenshot of it. The starship that flying over me making the view even more worth to shot. I admits, this game never stop to amaze with it's sunning landscape almost every where I go.

After almost an hour of walking, exploring, swimming, scanning, running, jumping, and enjoying every bits of the journey, I finally found the Dissonance Resonator, the main objective for today's mission. I need to find and destroy five of them. After met one of them, the others will be much easier to find.

When destroyed, Dissonance Resonator drop one inverted mirror, which is one way to gain thousands of nanites. One inverted mirror yielded 200 nanites. The easier way to farm them is to disable the sentinel alarm at Sentinel Pillar first, so no sentinel comes after destroying one. In this mission, I just shot them and let the sentinels come. I have other way to avoid the sentinel.

Whenever I destroyed the Dissonace Resonator, I activated my cloaking device. It gave me enough time until the sentinels stopped hunting. It's really a convenient way to hide. I could fight, but it would take too long.

I really don't want to face whit this robots right now. It could cost me ammunition, time, and materials. I'll save them for another time. When the timing is right, fighting sentinel is so much fun to do! It's a real traditional way of grinding nanites!

It doesn't take me too long to take down all five Dissonance Resonators, but my exploration during this mission is more than an hour! hahaha.. I admits, I lost track of time whenever I step into nms universe. I am having fun of everything it has offers. Before I return to the Space Anomaly and take the reward from the Nexus, I explore the nearby planet.

What caught my attention was the tagging on my screen that I keep seeing from nearby planet. So after the mission was completed, I moved to the planet and discovered this structure! It was a farming site created by a player two days ago! So there were half a million units worth of resources inside the resource depot. This mechanic is pretty new to me, and I still haven't learned how to make it. Seeing this today makes me excited to make my own.

This planet has its own unique and stunning landscape view. It's grown by giant ring-like plants everywhere I go. I didn't explore more on this planet. Just fly around a few thousands unit in distance and then after that back to the space.

The I went to the space station of this system, just to check the multitool cabinet or starship that landed, hoping there's something that I like. But I found nothing caught my interest.

I waited for a moment to wait and see the starships that landed. But not for long, nothing interested me.

I took out my first exotic starship, use it to leave the space station and was on my way to the space anomaly.

I received 400 quicksilver and one walker brain for completing today's mission.

So, that's all for today, thank you so much for your support. Have a nice day. Goodbye!

Yup.. Exploring and discovering new planets is fascinating! I spent more hours in this game than in my others game.
