Blood on The Grass

Blood on The Grass is a quest that rewards Ronin Attire. I choose to complete this quest today in order to see how is the Ronin Attire looks like. I like Ronin class. It's a combination of samurai and sorcerer. So, I think the attire will look cool.

I will meet an old friend of Jin, the Straw Hat Ronin. He is a legend whom I want to recruit to save Jin's uncle.

First Battle

I took the main road to reach the mission location. It was around 1.8 km in game distance. While travelling with my horse, I faced my first battle. I saw six enemies ahead of me.

I won the stand off battle. What I did to win a standoff battle every time was I look at the hand of the enemy. The moment the hand starts to make a move, I will unsheathe my sword and one hit the enemy to victory.

The first target, the archer. I admit this was an easy battle. The attack's pattern was too repetitive. I need a new enemy to have more fun.

He was done with it. No more moves.

The atmosphere of the battle was evening and raining. The sun was set when I encountered them. When our battle began, the atmosphere suddenly changed.

One down, two more to go.

Fighting a spearman was tricky. I need to dodge it's attack with the right timing. Failure to do so will cost me lots of blood.

After clearing the path, I gained more points to unlock some skills. I haven't decided which skill to choose yet. So, I have a few points that I save and will decided later what skill should I unlock when enemies get harder to killed.

Second Battle

I stumbled upon a group of bandit's while continuing my ride on the main road. From what I see from afar, they were a small group with no proper armor with them.

Like I said, I am bullying this small black group. They were killing innocent people on the road. I will avenge them.

It was easy to read how they moved. Parrying their sword was also a piece of cake.

I was an easy fight. I let the archer last so I would have more fun fighting while avoiding the archer's attack.

Avoiding the archer's arrow was not that hard. It's luck that I managed to dodge and then take a picture.

This was such a brutal death for the archer. He was walled by the tree and met his end there.

Yup.. this people were killed by the black attire group.

Third Battle

I continue my journey to the main quest location. I take a shortcut through the river this time.

I then reached this fort. Heavily guarded by Mongol armies. When I arrived, I had no idea how many enemies were inside the fort. I plan to attack them directly like a samurai.

Quick die from standoff battle. It was a free kill without much of a fight.

Both of the front gate's guards easily countered. So I am entering the unknown fort.

Here they came. It seems like a lot. This will take some time to win the fort.

The first enemy with a shield was down. I saw the double blade and spearman next.

Double blade down. I saw that the spearman was ready to enter the battle. They might have a chance to kill me if they attack me at the same time.

Today, my Hero of Tsushima's sword tastes a lot of Monglo army.

I mean, look at that blood.

He got kicked after my sword went through his body. This is a rare shot style at killing an enemy.

They stand no chance against Lord Jin Sakai. Some of the enemies were sleeping inside their camp, but alerted because of the intense battle. They quickly went outside to get killed.

It was a massacre.

Even the bald guy stands a zero chance.

This shot looks like blood coming out of the archer's nose.

They keep coming out of the camp.

This was the last of them. I won the fort.

I finally leave the fort. There are no more enemies inside. I continued my journey.

Forth Battle - New Enemy Appeared.

It was raining when I was about to continue my journey. There was this yellow bird trying to show me something. But, not today birdy. I will come back to you later.

And there they go again. Blocking my road again.

The first enemy was a new enemy, but I killed it in one hit. Stand off battle always was a free kill.

The battle ended fast. I cannot wait to reach the Ronin's location. So taken less screenshots in this battle.

Finally I Meet the Ronin

After winning the last battle, I reached this fisherman's village.

I rushed went through the village and came across with this grassland. I can see black smoke from afar. And that's was where I will go.

Went I reached the location, there Mongol's dead body everywhere.

I then follow the dead bodies that lying on the main road.

Meet Ryuzin, The Straw Hat Ronin

I finally meet Ryuzin. After having short chit chat with him, we get ambushed by enemies.

I meet new enemy again. But again, I won the stand off battle, one hit one kill. In the screenshot, seems like my sword was faster than Ryuzin's sword.

I was excited fighting a new enemies. I admit, I lost once because I don't familiar with the attack pattern. It was faster, and frequent. It was really intense battle. There was giant and bigger armor enemy that I fought. At first it seem harder, but after learning their attack's pattern, I finally grasp it and take the victory.

The battle take place near the beach. So you can see a battleship from this place.

There were several archers shooting from far place. So I keep running to get near and get rid those archer first.

This was one of the archer. They shoot from higher ground. Really strategic and annoyed me. What a lucky bee buzzing near in the battlefield (if you see it).

This was one of the guy that carry bigger shield. His attack was faster that the other giant I encounter before. I got sent flying by this guy so many time.

From now on, I might encounter this armored giant like this. If you can see, Ryuzin was fighting with the leader. He lost. So after dealing with this armored giant, I rushed forward to aid Ryuzin.

Ryuzin already reduce a big amount of blood from the Leader. It only took me few hits to kill him. I never thought that I was fighting the leader until the notification pop up that I killed leader. Gained Wind Stance, which great to fight with spearmen.

After the battle end, Ryuzin said he cannot help. But I, Lord Jin Sakai, don't give up. So I make offer to help anything so I can gain Ryuzin's help.

The Straw Hat's Camp

Ryuzin said that he has a group of people, Ronins, that might be able to help, if their food proble can be settled. I agree to help, so he take me to their camp.

This is Ronin's Camp. As you can see, there are many Ronin welcoming us.

So, that was the mission. There are many food supplies at Fort Ohira. Mongol army guarding the place. So my Job is to clear the fort and get them foods.

Ronin's Meeting

Ryuzi shows me the chest that contains the Ronin Attire. I took it and automatically wore it.

My skirt got a little dirty. I took out my sword and then accidentally stepped on the mud. But overall, I like it. After that, I went down the hill to join Ronin's meeting.

We are ready to attack!
