Hello everyone, hope you all are doing good? I'm back with the Part 2 and Final Part of this amazing series, How To Create A Conducive Workspace That Fuels Your Productivity As An Entrepreneur. In today's article, I will be talking about two(2) more ways we can create a conducive workspace at home that will fuel our creativity and productivity.
Ergonomic Chair
We need ergonomic chairs if we want to experience a comfortable and conducive workspace that will fuel our level of creativity and productivity. As we work from home, we would be sitting most times during the day and not sitting in a comfortable chair will give us body aches which will make us less creative and productive.
I'm currently using an ergonomic chair, but not the top class ergonomic chair, as mine doesn't have head rest, back adjustment, shoulders adjustment and other cool adjustments which will increase my level of comfort, which will definitely increase my level of creativity and productivity.
I'm currently saving towards it, because having a good ergonomic chair has a direct effect into one's level of creativity and productivity. Spending those hundreds of dollars is definitely worth it.
Interference/Noise
Whenever you are creating a conducive workspace for yourself, always try to pay attention to the noise level of the workspace. Some people create their workspace in their bedroom, and they have partner who goes in and out of the room, creating some kind of distraction which will disrupt their level of creativity and productivity.
You may be living in a noisy neighborhood which will greatly affect you. You can get a noisy cancelling headphone, which will help cancel those noises and help you remain focused on your task.
I got a noise cancelling headphone, because my neighbor always play loud music, or bring friends around, and they make noise like hell. I was frustrated, but as soon as I started using those amazing headphone, I could careless what they are doing. Although, the downside, is that, I have to be alert because I won't know if someone is calling me nor knocking on my door. You have to call my phone to get my attention. But in the end, the advantage of the noise cancelling headphone outweigh the disadvantage of it.
Always ensure that your workspace is located in a place within your house, where there is less activities and get yourself a noise cancelling headphone, in order not to distracted and have full concentration and focus on your task as your level of creativity and productivity will be greatly boosted.
