🎨 Illustration Workshop at Medellín's ⛰🏙⛰ Literature Festival 📚
As I was saying in my previous post, I went to this illustration workshop which was part of Medellín's Literature Festival...and it was particularly good for me because I was in this really bad art block, and it helped me to overcome it 🎉🎉🎉.
Now this workshop was in charge of brasilian writer and illustrator Roger Mello, hehe yeah he has similar surname to mine xD but that's beside the point, the thing is that this was about making/creating a character which isn't present anymore, so I thought about doing a caveman....but that was after doing a bunch of paint splashes and nonsense lines in the paper.

Then we proceeded to create like a sort of backstory through writing a letter to that character, that was quite interesting and challenging...and also FUN!
Roughly what I wrote is that he was the Purple Rock Tribe's cave artist hehe, and he was in charge of painting the history and feats of the tribe so that future generations could learn about it.
Then the last part of the workshop was doing any complementary illustrations or writing that could go along with our character, I of course chose to draw hehe.
