Nurarihyon no mago comenzó como un one-shot en 2006, el cual, fue aceptado y serializado a inicios de 2007 por la editorial Shuesia, publicado en la mítica Shounen Jump, teniendo una recepción tan grande que mantuvo su popularidad estable en el Top 12 de la Jump durante todo el 2007, por ende, su adaptación al anime (muy popular por cierto （￣▽￣）) llegó hasta 2010, con una muy esperada segunda temporada en 2011, pero bueno, no necesariamente quiere decir que sea dure mucho tiempo ((～o￣▽￣)～o ), y, dado el bajo rendimiento del manga meses después del término del anime, fue decidida su finalización de forma abrupta en agosto de 2012, algo conmocionó a los fans, ya que, al parecer, el autor insistió en terminar antes de arruinar el flujo de la historia, dando lugar a una adaptación a comic, un CD drama y una novela ligera para finalizar el proyecto.

Nurarihyon no mago, aunque por poco tiempo, fue un grande de la Jump y esto debe tener una buena explicación, así que vamos a desmenuzar su anime poco a poco y con nada que pueda ser considerado spoiler desde mi punto de vista.

Su historia nos habla de Nura Rikuo, el nieto del yokai Nurarihyon, yokai que puso bajo su control a los yokai más fuertes de la era de su juventud, y, tras la muerte de su hijo, su nieto Riku, tendrá que encontrar la forma de aprender liderar a los yokai que su abuelo tiene a su mando, el problema, es que es más humano que yokai, listo, esa es toda su base, esta historia usa la fórmula del crecimiento del personaje para controlar cada suceso, y debo decir que lo hace muy bien, te maneja arcos de entrenamiento, profundidad de algunos personajes secundarios importantes (porque tiene una gran cantidad de buenos personajes secundarios []~(￣▽￣)~*), propósitos, arcos serios, venganzas, sangre, violencia sin sentido (son yokai, realmente no necesitan explicar la violencia ╮（￣▽￣）╭), comedia, e incluso un poco de trama escolar (totalmente innecesaria a mi parecer), en fin, el punto, es que hace uso de muchos recursos, y su esencia, es que un chico de 12 años debe demostrar ser digno de dirigir un clan yakuza sobrenatural, una idea bastante entretenida.

His story tells us about Nura Rikuo, the grandson of the yokai Nurarihyon, a yokai who put under his control the strongest yokai of the era of his youth, and, after the death of his son, his grandson Riku, he will have to find a way to learn to lead the yokai that his grandfather has under his command, the problem is that he is more human than yokai, ready, that is his entire base, this story uses the formula of character growth to control each event, and I must say which it does very well, it handles training arcs, depth of some important supporting characters (because it has a lot of good supporting characters []~(￣▽￣)~*), purposes, serious arcs, revenge, blood, violence nonsense (they're yokai, they really don't need to explain the violence ╮（￣▽￣）╭), comedy, and even a bit of a school plot (totally unnecessary in my opinion), anyway, the point is that it makes use of many resources, and its essence, is that a 12-year-old boy must prove himself worthy of leading a supernatural yakuza clan, quite an entertaining idea.

Su banda sonora es alucinante, hablamos de temas perfectos para narrarte la vida de un clan yakuza, esta banda sonora con estilo tradicional japonés, el hecho de que tenga pocos temas para dos temporadas, no impide que estén bien utilizados y ajustados con variaciones donde deben de ir, maximizan la inmersión y la empatía con la historia, así que creo que es muy agradable, si de algo me podría quejar, es de que sus openings y endings me parecen anticlimáticos, si bien, no son malos, siento que no terminan de encajar, una lástima que les faltara la fuerza de la banda sonora interna.

Its soundtrack is amazing, we are talking about perfect themes to narrate the life of a yakuza clan, this soundtrack with traditional Japanese style, the fact that it has few themes for two seasons, does not prevent them from being well used and adjusted with variations where they should to go, they maximize immersion and empathy with the story, so I think it's very nice, if I could complain about something, it's that their openings and endings seem anticlimactic to me, although they're not bad, I feel like they don't end to fit, a pity that they lacked the strength of the internal soundtrack.

Ahora, hablando de su animación, los diseños son muy buenos, son estilizados y flexibles para ser usados en su comedia, pero hay un problema que me parece algo un tanto evidente, la paleta de colores amarillenta utilizada en su primera temporada, fue, desde mi punto de vista, un intento por infantilizar una historia que no debía ser infantil, inadecuado en una palabra, lo cual fue una lástima, ya que sus secuencias de batalla fueron muy interesantes, esta parte como de pintura japonesa me parece muy especial, así que, el hecho de que arreglaran la animación en la segunda temporada volviéndola una más seria, fue un arreglo muy acertado y sinceramente, me parece mucho mejor para los arcos que abarca.

Now, speaking of his animation, the designs are very good, they are stylized and flexible to be used in his comedy, but there is a problem that seems somewhat obvious to me, the yellowish color palette used in his first season, it was, from my point of view, an attempt to infantilize a story that shouldn't be childish, inadequate in a word, which was a pity, since its battle sequences were very interesting, this part like Japanese painting seems very special to me, as well that, the fact that they fixed the animation in the second season making it more serious, was a very successful arrangement and honestly, it seems much better for the arcs that it covers.

TERMINANDO/ENDING…

Si hubo un problema con ella desde mi perspectiva, fue que, con un inicio tan fuerte y una trama tan lineal, debió ser difícil salir del círculo vicioso en el que entró desde el principio, por lo que creo que cortar la serie antes de que se trastornara, fue la mejor decisión, ya que lo hizo muy bien, y viendo solo las dos temporadas del anime, es tan entretenido como solo un buen shounen puede ser, lo cual explica por qué es un grande caído de la Jump.

If there was a problem with it from my perspective, it was that, with such a strong opening and such a linear plot, it must have been difficult to get out of the vicious circle that it got into from the beginning, so I think cutting the series before it he was upset, it was the best decision, since he did it very well, and seeing only the two seasons of the anime, he is as entertaining as only a good shounen can be, which explains why he is a great faller of Jump.
