A flower and hummingbird morning
I started my birthday out with a few moments out on my deck enjoying the flowers and a humming bird visit. I don't have any big plans for the day- the kids are coming for the weekend and we will celebrate then.
We have finally had a couple of welcome rains, and you can see some drips on the flowers, but they have been occurring with pretty violent weather and several tornadoes all around us. We are under an excessive heat warning and a tornado watch at the same time right now.
I think this little ruby throated humming bird thought I might be sitting and sipping my morning tea to close to the feeder. These shots were all taken with my mobile, looking at the window reflections behind the feeder.

One more pandemic birthday and I'm hoping my old air conditioner continues working and that today's storms don't bring damaging weather. Growing older has become a challenge! 😁

First happy 39th birthday.🤣 Like your big feeders. Boy you sure have a lot of them to keep filled. Got to get me one like yours. The bug birds are making me fill the 8 oz ones everyday..
With this big one I can usually go three days. I wish I would have taken the camera out with me this morning. Phones do not do a good job with hummingbirds!

Thanks so much, Pauline! My granddaughter's birthday is in a few days and she will be turning 15. We always get to celebrate our birthdays together, everyone else in the family has a winter birthday. She is asking for an electric guitar this year for her birthday. I guess I should have put more thought into something that I would have liked to have! not a guitar though. 😉
