Una noche de caminata al Valle [Esp/Eng]

Hola, pequeñas personitas. Hace unos cuantos días atrás, para las fechas de las festividades de la Virgen del Valle de la Isla donde vivo, unos familiares vinieron de visita, para pasar un ratito de vacaciones en la isla después de tanto trabajo.

Y como era justo para esas fechas, mis padres propusieron ir al cumpleaños de la virgen a las 12:00 am. Porque, generalmente suelen hacer cosas realmente muy hermosas. Yo me animé a ir, pero, sabía que ir, significaba tener que caminar hasta llegar al punto de encuentro. En total, caminé 6km. 3 de ida y 3 de regreso a casa.

A penas todos comenzamos a salir de la casa, me sorprendí al ver que algunos vecinos justo estaban saliendo para el mismo evento. Pero, luego de salir completamente de la urbanización, me dí cuenta que toda la calle estaba llena de personas que irían caminando hasta el punto de encuentro.

Sentía que entre más avanzaba, a más personas veía. Pero, la locura de todo esto lo vi a penas entré al campo eucarístico. Todo estaba completamente repleto de personas. Sin exagerar, realmente parecía que más de la mitad de los habitantes de la isla se encontraban en ese lugar. Jasja

Y por la cantidad de personas que había en el lugar y el calor del momento, pusieron puestos de atención médica porque algunas personas, por todo lo que estaba pasando, sufrían de algunos desmayos.
Además, mi familia y yo regresábamos a casa después de cantar cumpleaños, cercano a las 2:00 am, y aun se podía ver personas que seguían caminando hasta los puntos de encuentro.
Realmente me sorprendió la cantidad de personas que había y caminaban desde tan lejos para poder asistir y cumplir alguna promesa.

Hello, little people. A few days ago, around the time of the festivities for the Virgen del Valle on the island where I live, some relatives came to visit, to spend a little vacation on the island after so much work.

And since it was just around that time, my parents suggested going to the Virgin's birthday celebration at midnight. Because they usually do really beautiful things. I decided to go, but I knew that going meant having to walk to the meeting point. In total, I walked 6km. 3 there and 3 back home.

As soon as we all started to leave the house, I was surprised to see that some neighbors were also leaving for the same event. But after leaving the neighborhood, I realized that the whole street was full of people walking to the meeting point.

I felt that the further I walked, the more people I saw. But I saw the craziness of it all as soon as I entered the Eucharistic field. Everything was completely packed with people. Without exaggerating, it really seemed like more than half of the island's inhabitants were there. Jasja

And because of the number of people there, they set up medical stations because some people were fainting due to everything that was happening.
Even after singing “Happy Birthday,” my family and I returned home. It was close to 2:00 a.m., and you could still see people walking to the meeting points.
I was really surprised by the number of people there and how far they had walked to attend and fulfill a promise.
